Thanks for the tips. I have been drinking cranberry juice and lots of water and that seems to be helping. Four weeks to go on the Incivek. If I can only hold off this rash.

I don't know if cranberry juice helped me during Infections but it always made me feel better. Changes the PH of the bladder. I used to mix it with apple or another juice. I used to get UTI's often 10 years ago or so and stones...lots of kidney stones. Don't know what I am doing different now but can happily say I haven't had any of either in several years.
Tea tree oil is good for a lot of things but (holds my nose) sure is stinky lol
Hope your holding out on the rash Kellie. UND at 4 is great!
Riba doesn't help with the itching. I have been off the tele for a few weeks now and no visable rash but still itch like crazy

Hi Joanneh, it's good stuff, I've been using a cream for my tele rash. It worked in the beginning - Now I just use it to keep the rash from getting infected, doesn't do much for the itch. It's really bad - for a week now. I"ll see the NP on Tuesday. She mentioned giving me a shot of Kenalog to keep the fire down. Trying to hold on long enough to make have a better shot at SVR. I see you've had HCV about most of your life too. Are you UND now?

Cranberry juice and more water is the only thing that helped me. I had a couple of glasses of juice every day. Don't drink too much though, it'll give you early exit problems on the other side. I tried some of the cranberry pills and I guess they helped some but nothing is as good as old fashioned cranberry juice.

I had UTI once and thought I had it least 3 more times but no infection detected. Hang in there!

Hey there Pasco M
Yes I had this problem also 1st or second week of triple tx. Nothing showed in the test - doc said healthy as a horse -purchased "Tea Tree Therapy", Vaginal Suppositories. Worked well for me. It just kinds of saturates the area down there- Haven't had a re-occurrence since. I've had this mystery problem in the past and it worked for me back then too. Do some research on Tea Tree Oil - I think it's good stuff - I hope this helps - anything to make one more comfy at this time is a good thing. Best, Kellie

Type 1 8 weeks into triple therapy treatment Viral load undetectable at 4 weeks.
At the end of six weeks on triple therapy I developed a burning in my urinary tract. My Dr. had me get a UA which showed no problem. The problem continues through my 7th and now into my 8th week.
Has anyone else encountered or heard of this problem?
Good, I'm glad it's working for you
