I hope and pray that i'm not putting myself thru this TX for nothing .
We all have hoped that, cause as us relapsers know it can come back quickly at EOT. I take it as a gamble. Hopefully we win this one. Best of Luck

Hi all, here i am saying aww, and oww cus of all little ache in my shoulders and upper back. Thanks guy, I am going to talk again to the doctor on 7/2. when i tested on my 12 wk and it came back det. I became very upset and the rash came back for a couple of days and even thought of going on antidepresents for a while. After my 12th wk doctor visit the doctor expresses his concerns about being det at 12 weeks and that's when he said we will go till 24 weeks and see if you become UND. We talked about new med coming next year and thats why I said to myself Damm Damm not again meaning this treatment failed also. So i'm just kinda hanging in limbo cus my doctor doesn't want me getting angry and quit treatment if there is some hope of being UND at 24 wk of TX. Also the doctor want me to wait for VL count till 24 wk blood work and then we may continual with treatment or wait for some the next best thing. I hope and pray that i'm not putting myself thru this TX for nothing .

My first 2 replies seemed to have disappeared off into cyberspace- I probably should give up late-night web surfing. :-\ Anyway, I'm sure working full time while on treatment has got to be tough, but it looks like you're about halfway through so just enjoy the good(family, friends) in life, and hang on a little tighter when the treatment tries to get the best of you. Take as best care of your body(rest-sleep-water) as you can, best of luck to you.

Hi Ed!
I am currently in my 4th week of treatment with Incivek and have kept my full time job. The only difference with my job is I work 12 hour days and only 3 a week. I have been also been helping down at my local humane society on my days off....an hour here, two hours there. But most important, I take it easy on my days off. If Im tired, I take a nap. I try to get my stuff done during the early part of the day, so that I can kick back and relax in the afternoon and evening. My Dr told me the more I can move when my joints ache, the better it is and the pain wont last as long.
Hang in there! The end result is worth every ache and pain! Stay strong....

Ed, There was no way I could have worked Full time on Invicek. I had a lot going on at That time but worked from home. I was in Process of selling a company. I had to learn to accept that while on Treatment I had to embrace a sedentary lifestyle. I enjoy reading for I decided to study the Old Testament, which is inexhaustible. Treat yourself to a lazy life style. I gained 12 lbs! Also, My doctor required me to 48 weeks treatment because I was DET at 4 weeks! I learned on my own Later that I should do 48 weeks just because I have cirrhosis. My doc was unaware of that FACT. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care if yourself and get time off work. You are fighting for your life

Hi Ed,
I'm a bit worried because you keep on saying you're only doing 24 weeks of Rx. The rule for Incivek is 48 weeks, if Detected but less than 1000, at week 12. Have you discussed this with your Doctor?
Hi all, This tx has been hard for me because i never stop working. Some times i think of taking a leave of absence but life is calling and responsibility are in front of my eyes. The first 12 wk were brutal and now I'm allway tired and aching all over my body. what do you guy deal with this part of this thing call life????
