The doctor seems to think I will be doing the triple tx. With incivek, I believe. It depends on my genotype ...which I should know this week. He thinks its 1a since I failed treatment in 2000. He said other types do not usually come back. I was watching some youtube videos of people doing video diaries during tx and that's where I got the supplement idea. I want to minimize any major sx since I have a 3 and 9 year old to care for.

I'm on the Victrelis arm of the triple therapy ana can provide some tips for sure. BUT, you have to talk to your doctor/pharmacist handling your care and getting their input before adding anything to the mix. Some of them are very strict about meds or supplements, whether they are prescription or OTC. Aside from that we can all give you ideas on food, hydration, rashes, oral care, etc. We're here for the asking, especially at these late hours when sleep is a pleasant memory.

As some of you know, I'll be doing the tx soon. I want to get prepared and see what supplements helped you manage the side effects. I hear that probiotics, b12 and vit D are good ones..maybe eye drops and special mouth wash. Any others? Thanks.
