On a lighter note, tell us how it feels physically to be virus free! I'm so tired of feeling bad all the time.
Thanks everyone for your kind words.

It feels good 'mentally' to be rid of HepC.
My body is feeling better every day since treatment ended. My blood counts are still a little low but working their way up. Just glad it's over and that I can wake up every day and feel like doing things and being social.

Hi Dougie,
It's always sad to lose a parent, particularly when you feel like crap during Rx. Best of luck, though it sounds that you've won your own battle. Time to recover and enjoy life. Cheers.

Condolences to you for the loss of your father, Dougie, sounds like he was a very brave man, as were you too. Losing a parent is devastating and my heart goes out to you.
All good wishes to you, and best of luck with your continuing UND and SVR. Take care...

Hey Dougie, please accept my condolences for your Father. It's always a difficult loss when you lose a parent. It's also difficult to follow their illness and then to say goodbye. Your future seems very bright and I wish you good health and a continued undetectable viral load!

Hi every one!
Been quite awhile since I last posted. I was busy helping my Dad
as I had mentioned before that he had cancer. He passed away on June 27th.
His pain and suffering is over.
I am 5 months UD and go in September for a final VL check.
I am feeling great and it feels good to be rid of this disease.
I hope that everyone on treatment will hang in there as it can
get rough but the outcome is worth it although at times you
may not think so.

Thanks for your thoughtful words.
You know what was really rough, was that in January when my Dad was told
about the cancer and told that He may not see this summer. He was strong knowing
that the end was so near and my family did all we could to help him enjoy what time
He had left and it got really bad during the last month. Was kind of hard to watch him
suffer and of course I was in my last weeks of treatment and I was so anemic, having
blood transfusions and trying to hold myself together so I could stay strong for my Dad
during his last months.
Thanks
Dougie
