Hi all! Life is going well! I am in school soon to start my second semester at the local community college! (I took the summer off lol) we did move from near the Cape of MA to the other end of the state practically lol, it's where I am from originally, but it's taking time for Lindsay to adjust. (She says the area is growing on her slowly, but it ain't no Boston ;) ) Though life still has its ups and downs (per normal) it is good! Here are some updated pics! :D
Ah my dear Lady! how did I miss this? You look Great!
I think we were all there with you, I know I was worried for you ...through the move, the storm, and all your f-ed up side effects, but you persevered, You have much to be proud of.
Now maybe you and your sweetie can get on with life...Renee you Rock! I'm giving you and Lindsey a big cyber >>>HUG<<<
much love to you, Iris
ps... I really love your post here with all the smiley faces...very cute

Hey Vern,
Missed you man. Thought you'd been eaten by a huge bass! I miss our days of banter about Xeno. You'll be fine, but I emphasise with the waiting. Keep in touch. Cheers, I've been fishing too!

I feel your pain 12-Step guy!!
I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas
For my 6 month post tx on Oct 15th.
Waiting three months seems like a year
Waiting on Santa to see if I am getting switches
Or toys. I feel toys most day.
I have missed you.
I cut my hair off to the scalp when I finished
Treatment end of April!
Practicing one day at a time!
All is good today but ready to know:)

Renee, I too have been busy. Great to see you checking in. I've also been somewhat mia on the board. Waiting until Nov for my testing is nerve-wracking if I think about it to much. So, I'm trying my best to stay busy and try to not even think about it. I'm letting my beard grow out till I hear the news. I'm thinking of getting on the Santa Claus circuit.
That`s lovely, thanks Renee, and how great to see you looking so much better! What a difference from when you were in the midst of tx! You showed so much strength and determination while you were struggling to get through it all and it`s wonderful to hear that your life is back on track now.
Enjoy your busy virus-free life, you have so many happy times ahead to look forward to!
Stay in touch, you`ll always be welcome here! ~ Jill xx

My dear Renee',
I wondered where you had been, then it occurred to me you did just like me.... you got busy. Part of getting well is getting back into your life, and as that happens we drift. But I will never forget this place. My best wishes to you and Lindsay, and I hope you don't get any more big storms, like the one that came through as you were trying to adjust to life after treatment. I have jumped whole hog into adaptive sports for disabled folks, both military and civilian. We do cycling, water skiing and snowboarding, and it uses up most of my free time. But the happiness it brings is more than I can describe, for me and for the students.
Good to see you, too, Joanne. We spent some tough times together on this forum, feeling like warmed over hell but excited about getting well. It was soooo worth it.
Love to all the newcomers, and the oldtimers. Peace through power.

Hi All!! I wanted to give a shout out to all my friends on here! I know I have been MIA/Absent for damned near a year and I am sorry for that; life got busy and I get distracted easily (even when I wasn't on TX ). I just wanted to say to Jill and Shep, Alan & Kiwi, Mallani, Iris, 12stepguy and SOOOOOOOO Many others (Especially my Heart; Lindsay <3) ; THANK YOU! You all welcomed me with open hearts and arms and tons of great advice and info when I first came here and started Treatment. You all 'virtually' held my hand and helped me through some very Hellish and agonizing days! You saw me through ups and downs, my fear and my dread, my frustrations and my questions...You ALL ROCK!!!! and I wanted to say I don't know if I could have done it without all your support! Here are three pics one taken the day I started TX one taken about halfway through and another taken a month or two ago :D
