Thanks a lot all ! would you beleive it, you are the first I needed to tell the good news because I really feel you'r my family, the only ones I have told before you were my daughter and my son, however they found the news "normal" because they had never seen their mother ill before so they were not really worried I beleive. This no-worries from them had kept me in a real sad lonelyness till I met you all. So I need to tell you a big huge THANKS !
Malcom : yes it's 12 weeks after end of treatment. This is when AbbVie gives you the SVR gold medal (but instead they asked me to signe an addendum that I did not signe, because I am still mad at them to do not have given to Matt and I the 24 weeks we were gently asking for).
Dearest Matt :
You know, without you I may be would not have done it, I did not tell the group, but after 3 nights without any sleep, and because I was sure the virus was wining, I wanted to make an end to my suffering. I had what was necessary to do that, excepted the med to stop vomiting the deadly stuff.
You are the one who speok to my heart saying "if I can go through that nigthmar, you can too, you'r not alone, I"m at your side". You know, you were not there physically, but your soul, your courage gave me the strengh to carry on and accept the fact that I might probably have to be told the virus was back.
So, Matt, all what I am looking for right now is to ear you say you are to benefit of a new treatment which will really cure you this time. If you had been under 24 weeks, may be you would be cured by now, so if AbbVie proposes you their rescue trial, it's because they will know it will work. Let's keep positive, it works, I do beleive in positive thinking a lot. Also, you and I understand the real power of healthy herbs and food, that's the key for both of us. *
My chemist gave me a stronger mixture of Thistle Milk, it's really burk to swallow but it does helps the liver to recover and get stronger. She said herbs are much more powerful than one can think. I do agree as herbs can kill, so why could not it help too ?
Warmest hugs,
Do

Hi Do,
Am I correct in that your 'EOT results' should read EOT +12w results ? If so, congrats and I'm very happy for you. Hope all is progressing well on your other problem. Best wishes and enjoy life.

Hey Do
Congrats on your EOT post 12 weeks its a very important moment in your life. I was holding my breath for your effort for the last week. After reading your post about your previous weeks problems and symptoms I was afraid to tell you that was how I felt before I got the bad news.
I am very happy you have come this far and some day I hope I can join you. I still am mystified why I relapsed when everybody I know on the Turquoise II made it to 12 weeks EOT UND and beyond. Though I get depressed thinking about it and it's very hard to live with. I am happy for others that continue to achieve SVR knowing my day may yet come and my future has not yet been wrote. I will be investigating Abbvies rescue trial but I have to qualify by not having particular Rav's that they check for with deep gene sequencing.
Do, sorry I am boring you with this I guess I needed to just say something. You have been a great caring member of the forum and I thank you for that.
As far as your cirrhosis, they are seeing a reversal of it with healthy live styles and no more HCV and that is exactly what will happen to you.
Matt

Thank you Tiger and Kellie, you know, I'm surprised, but the congratulations which touch me the most are those from you people who really know what it means to have become virus free.
Tiger, your avatar represents exactly my terror right now : my liver one morning who would ring and tell me "girl, it's time for you to say bye bye".
French seems very negative with cirrhosis, even if we are cured, like if we are all condamned to end by drowning one day, no matter we are good swimmer or not that very time.
Have to live one day a time ... no I'm sure there must be a solution some where ..
Ouch ! I'm supposed to be less depressed to night lol
Hugs

Thanks Cinnamon and Caroline :)
My nights are going to be so much better by now.
I have so much admiration for all of you who have been experiencing HVC for so long.
It has been 7 months between the time I was told I was HVC positive and the day I am told of the SVR.
Such a short time, but so much to handle. By now, "just" to controle the cirrhosis seems easier to me, even thought I know nothing will neverbe the same from now. I know of many friends who had a cup of champagne for their SVR, but I will not and keep on the warm lemon juice for long.
Cheers all, I'm not feeling alone since I 'm here with you all, things are so,so much easier, thank you so, so much :)
