Now you can look forward , never again Interferon and an interferonfree therapy with few Sx and a better SVR chance in only 12 weeks is waiting for you.
best wishes

Hello Tonib
Your right Tonib, it is really tough but so is the human spirit. You may down but you are certainly not out and their is a whole lot more options to come. I think of it this way, we may have struck out this time but we have several more at bats to score and the odds are with us.
My advice is fill your time with doing good for others and it will keep your mind from dwelling on the pain. It's the best medicine their is.
Hoping toward the future with you
Matt

will my VL go up again? Or will it stay at 9000?
I guess this was not the time for me to be healthy and free from this horrible beast, and now the beast will have a party when it realizes the meds are gone.....

Hi tonib,
Sorry to hear the result. At least you can get off the meds and get them out of your system. The Interferon didn't work for you, so time to wait for the new orals. It's better to know now, rather than go through 48 weeks of hell, but I guess that's not much comfort now. Get yourself healthy and ready for the next battle. Your time will come. Hugs XX

Everytime I hear someone fails to cure, my heart sinks and I really feel emotion. I am so sorry, it is tough living day to day with this crap using us as a breeding ground without being told it is here to stay for longer. There is a rescue kit just around the corner but it doesn't really help to know that right now. I guess right now it is good to scream, cry and deflate a little. But remember we are all here holding your hand from afar. Hugs x

So sorry about this result, Tonib, I really feel for you. You must be devastated right now, and it will probably take a little while for you to come to terms with what`s happened. You know you gave it your very best shot but interferon based treatment doesn`t work for everyone, some things are out of our control.
Do is right, you should be proud of yourself for trying at least. Take good care of yourself and let your body and spirit heal for a while...your time will come, have no doubt about it. Sending hugs... x

Hi Tonib,
I'm so sorry, to learn this from an email is really the bad way. Glad you have been able to speak to a doc. I've already written to you on the other thread. All my thoughts are with you.
Keep hope, relax as no more needle, and a solution will arrive in time. You may be proud of you to have try, it was a difficult decision. There will be better ones soon.
All my affection,
Do
