The eye-sores that you describe sound exactly like those that I experienced mainly up until about a month ago.
I have had some eye-sight problems on treatment but not the discharge that you describe.
I am now seen every 2 months by the specialist eye department at my treating hospital.
When I first mentioned the eye sores and sight disturbances way back after the first month of treatment I felt that it was kind of fobbed-off.
It was reassuring to have it checked-out. Apparently most of these issues will resolve spontaneously after the end of tx, although it may not be instantaneous.
The eye-sores can be annoying and alarming. I have not really found any thing that helped other than covering them with a cosmetic product which helps to minimise their visibility and helped me psychologically as well, in that they are not so noticeable to myself when I might happen to glance in a mirror!
Take care and love and light.

That was funny about wherever the product came from, as long as it still worked lol! I've seen the zyrtec advertised on tv, but it must of been an American channel too! lol! I'd rather be in Florida anyday!! Their expecting a bit of snow here already this week! I'm about 3-4hrs north of Toronto. Time to eat and take some more pills... Hope everyone has a good week!

And what is so bad with an American product? LOL! I'm not familiar with Canadian meds, I live in Florida! I'm glad the itching has been relieved, wherever it can from, ha!!
Jerseygirl, do you wear contacts? If you're using eye drops and contact solution you might be having a problem with the combination of drops. Contact solution all by itself makes for an excellent wetting agent for dry eyes and you get a huge bottle for the same price as that little one. If you're using any type of eye make up, the same problem might be occurring.
As far as the sores, I mentioned a salve I've been using on another thread called "Bag Balm". It has helped me with some of the sores and rough patches around my mouth and face. If nothing else has helped you, I would give it a try.

Hi, now that you have mentioned it, I have noticed a little bit of white stuff at the outer corner of my left eye only. I never really paid much attention to it, but since you have experienced some of this too, it must be another side effectI'm in wk 11 of the triple tx with vict. I went to pick up some zyrtec for the iching, but the pharmasist said it was an american product and prescribed reactine instead as it has the same ingredients. Its helped the itching already, thanks

Can you share a little regarding your current treatment regimen? That will help us to better determine what might be happening. I haven't had any type of foaming or white fluid coming from the eyes but I do have terrible issues with dry eyes. Occasionally I'll experience a crusty build up, particularly at night. It has even made it hard to open my eyes at times. Kind of reminds me of glue at times. Are you using any type of nasal spray or saline in your nose? How about allergies or medications to treat them recently? Be sure you're hydrating enough and make sure you bring it to the attention of your doctor. It's always a good idea to be followed during treatment by an Ophthalmologist. These drugs can have a serious effect on your eyes.
