Well today I finally got enough jam to get dressed and bundled up and braved the cold of winter. I shoveled 3" of snow of the side walk and porch, removed a foot of snow off the hood and windshield of the truck and a few other things out side.It was very cold here today with a bad wind as well. I had good energy but doing the shoveling of the side walk and porch had me gasping for breath but that didn't take very long to normalize. I have noticed since Monday that I'm no longer having COPD attacks buy walking upstairs to bed. Still fatigued in the evenings and the body demands I lay down and rest. and that is what I off to do now, night all. Cheers.

My recovery is definitely coming along after that 48 weeks. think I have been off 3 weeks now. Finished assembling the living room fan and in stalled the lights and have install a new bedroom door and jam set and repaired the floor I had to cut out to fit the door. I have been able to do some shopping an some carpentry work, very limited though. I get about 5 or 6 hrs of slow motion work done before I have to crash out. I just have to watch how much I do and not to drive in the afternoon as I'm getting tired and fatigued, I found that out today. I was not able to keep my judgments and attentions focused. I ran a few yellows/reds and didn't see that there was a turning light for on coming traffic and ran the ed, I was lucky as the fellow that had turned seen me and stopped before he hit me. Still have problems with shortness of breather if I do any thing physical like walk up stairs to lay down. i have been having naps most every afternoon from 4-6. I'm need to go to bed now and I hope some of this made some sense. Cheers

You made it!!! I am thrilled, thrilled and more thrilled!
I made it too. We rode the strom out together.
So many people have achieved SVR!
I found out 2-3 weeks ago that I was Hep C free.
It's just now feeling real that it's gone.
So thankful for you as I can honestly say
I know how you feel.
48 weeks took a toil
But life is full again w activities.
I survived many a day with your sense of humor:)
Glad to see you on forum.

Tim, you're right I haven't been around lately. Some of it has been fishing and having far to much fun. But, another part of it has been consciously avoiding the whole issue on having C and recovering from the 48 weeks of large amounts of deathly pills and injections. Waiting the six months out has been hard. Out of sight-out of mind. Thank God this is over. Now I can do my part to help others.
