It is so nice to hear you are running again, that must feel good.
So sorry to hear about the insurance. I saw the obamacare on the Canadian news and had no idea it would impact so many people, esp on this treatment. Not fair at all.
SVR is yours to keep!
Many good thoughts coming your way.

thank you peeps, for your loving words of encouragement & kindness. without you all to talk and bounce stuff off of, i couldn't have done this tx and stayed sane and so well informed.
the test will be going in the direction of a SVR. yay!
i consider myself very blessed when i think of where i was at 5 months ago and today.
i was hoping for new found energy and clarity and seem to have it now. i say seem as i don't want to jinx anything. not a scientific way of looking at it lol. so so grateful.....
yeppers, if i wouldn't have done the treatment when i did i would be SOL, as said, in the region i live in.
i should have been more clear as to why i lost my medical coverage:
i have been on injury leave for another issue that occurred a few months before treatment began and have used up my injury leave and rockin medical benefits at this point.
the medical bens were from my employer that i've had since 2000, that i earned and paid for. they only gave me 3 days notice that it would be ending. a bit rude.
it was my responsibility to know about this, but i was so foggy and messed up during tx, i failed to read the fine print. hahaha.
funny, i had a feeling i was missing something. and this little chunk of important info was it.
and ironic that i'll be looking into the new medical benefits offered to me by my federal government. i'm a proponent for socialized medicine, maybe not this plan, because it's a bizarre mutation from the original idea. i'll take what i can get,
but these ideas are for the rant and rave section.
i believe God has a plan and he's my director. i'm very grateful to have a wonderful husband who's turning 54 today. he's been sick with a cold the last 5 days and i hope he's better today so he can enjoy his day. have a wonderful day friends, and hang in there, your SVR and virus free body is right around the corner.
love,

Hey Kellie
Good to hear from you, most of the insurance companies are dumping all of us (myself included) because they can, not because it's right. I will have to along all the others join Obama care. At least there will be no limitations or exclusions.
Its encouraging to hear the positive outlook on getting back your energy from the 24 week treatment. Your pro-active commitment to exercise and getting back to health is a excellent example for all to copy, instead of just complaining about how crappy you feel and felt.
Thanks for your input and congrats on your future SVR
Matt
Kellie, Glad you are feeling better, And Matt is right you are a good example for me to follow.Best wishes for your health and future happiness

kellie,
what is it w/ these insurance companies? i'll bet it's all related to the new regulations regarding obama care. stuff like that is happening to people w/ my insurance as well.
smart move to get blood work done earlier, thus proving no more brain fog.
am impressed w/ your energy levels and rigorous running schedule. exercising /working out is healing for mind, body & soul.
can't wait to hear your new test results.

Hey Kellie, I'm sorry to hear that you're losing your insurance. The same thing has happened to me. Almost 400,000 people in my state alone got that letter too. I agree about the way things work. If we had been on the 48 week treatment, we'd really be in a panic looking for an answer. It was a blessing to get our treatment done in time. I had considered delaying my start date by two months. That wouldn't have been a good choice at all.
I agree, a week and a half won't make a difference. It's going to your SVR 12, that's what I read in my tea leaves tonight! I'm proud of you for getting out there and running that often. Don't overdue it though! That new dose of energy does have limits. Don't wear out something because you're anxious to run a marathon. I hope I've got your energy when I reach your point post treatment. It certainly isn't even close to that right now. Did you set up a routine? Share your secrets when you have time. I'm so happy you're doing well and look forward to hearing from you!

i found out the other day i am losing my medical insurance tonight at midnight so i asked my np if we could do my 12 week eot labs a little early.
i'll have my vl results in a few days.
i asked her to throw a thyroid panel in there too, along with the other tests.i think if it's going to come back, it will show up now. 1 week surely won't make a difference.
grateful that i had the insurance the duration of the treatment. God works in mysterious ways.
feeling lots better. running now 4 days a week. my energy is back and better than ever. it's not a chore to get up in the a.m. and my thinking is clear and logical.
have some soreness in my joints but moving around helps. i'm at 120 lbs today. that makes for a total loss of 25 lbs during treatment and post.
i'll report back soon with the results and a little more post tx stuff.
