As Jill wrote, I hope some of the side effects of riba remain with me. I own rental properties and could use a little more assertiveness. Good for you for asserting your rights with those who create harm in your life. Somehow, riba made my thoughts come out of my mouth instead of just rolling around in my brain. My coordinator said I am probably just too tired to put up with nonsense. I do know that my tolerance has changed and I kinda like it.

susiq,
i have to admire your tenacity in dealing w/ your situation. you were 100% w/in your rights and it shows how strongly you will prove your point. as others said before we don't know how far this riba rage will take us.
i'm 11 days eot and while on tx i wrote 5 negative reviews of dentists, drs.,stores and contacted better business bureau regarding 1 merchant. on the lighter note i wrote 2 thank you notes as well! now mind you this is all w/in 6 mos. recently a woman in a store became confrontational w/ me in public for spraying the free tester waterproofer at clark's shoes. i started defending myself & the kind salesperson who i had told i was on serious meds, gently pulled me aside. i have never ever raised my voice in public and now concur that ribo is like pure steroids!!!!
after reading your post i'm going to watch myself very carefully while doing my errands solo. thank you for sharing your story w/us.

p.s.the reviews i wrote were long coming for many years. the dentist ruined a dental implant, cvs gave me 2 wrong prescriptions, shop rite is selling moldy wet ginger & rotten produce. bed bath & beyond shipped & charged me for 3 items i didn't order!! i'm still dealing w/ that mess!!!

Hey Suziq
Like the saying goes "you go girl"
But it does not take riba to get upset about someone stealing your belongings, it's likely the Riba made you more intense and not willing to back down.
I guess Ribavirin has another redeeming property.
Thanks for the great story Suziq

Susiq, you're quite the Queen Bee! I think I would like to stand next to you if I ever get in a confrontation. Well done, but next time it might not be as safe, be careful, it could have been nasty. :))

Oh yes, SusiQ, riba rage can certainly change your normal behaviour, and this is one of those times where it worked in your favour. You`re well into the `riba rage zone` by now! You were in the right though and and you did well standing your ground in what could have been quite a scary and intimidating situation.
When I was on tx I had a confrontation with a builder who`d done some work for me and hadn`t removed the huge pile of rubble in my back garden. When he finally turned up I gave him such a telling off he ended up in tears! I was in the right though and it was only because of the riba rage that I stood up to him in that way. And actually it`s stayed with me to a certain extent, I`m a lot more assertive nowadays.

Now that's funny! I agree that 14 weeks is plenty of time to build up a large supply of rage. I never compared it to steroid rage before but evidently the Sheriff's office thinks so. I'm glad it didn't progress to anything more confrontational. The little klepto would have had her hands full. That would've been quite the newspaper headline! I'm happy that you're okay, that's the important thing.

Yup 14 weeks will build up a good load of riba rage, and it can get out before you realize it. I had to apologize more than once last time I was on treatment. But mine usually was with friends, family, or coworkers, not druggies trying to steal my stuff. Good luck, and am proud of you. Take a bite outta crime, lol

Just had to share this and don't know anyone who might understand but you all. I called the Sheriff yesterday as a new "druggie" in the neighborhood stole things from a rental property I own. She (the druggie) got very confrontational and I apparently got confrontational back.(verbally) A second sheriff arrived and the first sheriff told him about the situation. He said the druggie was high and being very difficult and a little crazy. Then he remarked that if he hadn't known better he might have thought I was on steroids. Does 14 weeks of ribavirin create a little riba rage?? The sheriff apparently thought it did. I thought I was just standing my ground.
It worked out well. He waited while she gathered my things and returned them and I chose not to press charges. Yes, ribavirin does change behavior at times. I am generally very non-confrontational.
