Congrats on your 12 week SVR results, its a very good sign that you are active in your favorite winter hobbies. This shows you have your zest back.

Hey Bill,
Great news buddy!!!!!! I'm more than happy to hear of your success, not only this one but all of them. You've been a true inspiration to us all. Keep up the good work and your inspiring feats of super human ability! Skiing takes it out of you and if you've got the strength to do it already, then I have to believe you've got this one pegged!
I went in this morning and had my EOT + 12 blood work done and then some, damn... I thought about asking for a quick transfusion after they finished! They drained me of 8 tubes and a urinalysis. I have to wonder why they needed that much? Oh well, if I get back the three letters I'm waiting to see, then SVR 12 it will be! I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Hi Bill, great news, congrats on SVR12! And yes I agree, I think you`ve got it too!
Getting through a long and hard stretch of treatment is not easy and takes a lot of commitment, but a result like this certainly makes it all so worthwhile. You`ve fought hard for your increasing health and you`ll have so many more good times on the slopes to come!
Onwards to SVR24!

Test results back today 12 week post treatment. All chemistry panel results back to normal or very close (except AST) and viral load NOT DETECTED.Halfway there!
Went skiing last 2 weekends.Short backcountry trip and a few runs on the ski resort on the lifts.Just walking up to the first lift made me realize how much stronger I am now compared to when I was on the 48-week Victrellis/Riba/Interferon treatment.
Last year I had to quit skiing after 2 months on the tx as I was getting weaker too weak to ski safely.Life became a slog, but looking back, it was worth it to give me a chance at becoming HCV-free.
It has not been easy, but few things of value are.
So all you in the same graduating class (or close to it) like Tig, sandy and John - keep on keepin on.
Sounds like to me you're living the good life out there. Enjoy!
