Thanks for all reply. I am felling so touched. After treatment, my life changed greatly. We are divorced and I got a permanent job and have been working. My doc told me maybe I can start the second treatment around March next year. I hope I can positively face everything.
Thanks all. your warm words makes me feel better. Right now, I lost my family, but I know I can come here, I am not alone
Thanks Mallani, I will be concerned with Ribavirin for my next treatment.
Thanks all
Lucy

sorry to learn of your relapsing. remember that it's the meds that failed and not you.

Lucy,
Don't give up! Keep looking ahead.
Thankfully many more options on the
Horizon.
I failed tx in 2001 and it was 10 years
Before there were other options.
Sorry you relapsed.

Dear Lucy, I`m so sorry to hear this, I really feel for you and I know you must be devastated right now after the stressful time you had while on treatment. You did the best you could though and the battle isn`t over yet, I`m quite sure you`ll beat it next time around with one of the new drug combinations. I agree with Malcolm that it would be best to avoid ribavirin next time if possible so that you don`t experience such a drop in your Hb levels.
Give yourself some time to recover from the disappointment and try to put it out of your mind until the time comes for you to start a new treatment. Next time it will be a shorter and much easier treatment and you won`t have to go through such an ordeal as you did on incivek again.
Take good care of yourself, and remember that we`re always here for you.
Sending hugs, Jill xx

Hi Lucy,
I'm sad and my heart goes out to you. I am sorry the medication didn't work as expected. I know the tx sx were terrible. You gave your liver and body a nice break from the virus though, for a almost a year and that is good.
those easier tx will be coming your way and you'll be able to say so long once and for all. just a little while longer.
a big hug for you from me.

Hi Lucy,
Sorry to hear your news. It's a shame you had terrible anaemia, and had to reduce the Ribavirin to such a low dose.
It's just a temporary setback. Get ready for the next round of treatment, hopefully without Ribavirin. It may take a while to get the new drugs approved in Canada, but be patient.
Personally, I'd wait for Sovaldi and Ledispavir. Keep us informed. Cheers.

Hi Lucy,
I'm so sorry to hear about your relapse. I know you must be devastated right now and you have every right to be unhappy. Give yourself some time to regroup and plan for the next round against the beast. As Gracie said, if you made it through the hell of Incivek, you'll handle the new DAA's easily and without those nasty Sx. The SVR rates of relapsers on the new DAA's are very impressive and treatment lengths are so much shorter. I know right now that's probably not the first thing on your mind, but once this shock is over with, you'll know that your odds of success have never been better. Take some time and then plan for the final battle.

Oh Lucy... How heartbreaking. The new treatments are so much easier from what I've been reading from everybody. 12 weeks... Pfft! And relapsers have the highest SVR with them. You'll sail through the new treatment if you handled incevik. I'm on the nasty stuff now. One of the last 48 weekers. Lots to be positive about with these new treatments on the market.
