funny that you mentioned night sweats. i'm experiencing something similiar as well. i'm menapausal & had them prior to tx. fortunately they dissappeared during my treatment. now they're back but not as bad. at one point i was pondering whether or not the virus came back. don't think so, but notice if i eat too many carbs(ice cream ,cereal, farro or quinoa) oops......
good luck & i'd definitely see my dr. about the vision.

Hi Timothy,
I agree with Jill that this can take months to resolve. I'm 4 months post treatment and am having the same issue. I keep telling myself it came with the price of admission. Lying on a cotton blanket or throw can help absorb some of the perspiration and it's easier to replace the throw during the night than it is to change sheets. A t-shirt is easily changed as well. Hopefully this is just a short phase that will end quickly for you, good luck!

Hi Timothy, good to hear from you anytime, and please don`t apologise!
Looking back through your posts I remember you were still undetected at 12 weeks post tx which is a very good indication of achieving SVR at 24 weeks, so it seems unlikely that the virus has come back at this stage. It can take 6 months to a year, or in some cases even longer, to recover from a long course of tx with peg/riba, and there could be many reasons why you are getting night sweats and feeling achy. Although I must say your night sweats do sound quite extreme so maybe you should see your doctor if it carries on.
I do think it would be a good idea to have your eyesight checked out as interferon is known to cause problems in some cases, and it`s always advisable to check out any abnormalities with our vision.
Let us know when you get your results back, and best of luck to you!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything and for that I do apologize. I am now 23 weeks post treatment. Yesterday I did my blood draw. I am confident I have achieved SVR. And yet I have come down with night sweats. No matter how cool we keep the house I wake drenched, and need to change my bed clothes as well as change my covers, this is really new to me. I had experienced this but on much less scale while on treatment.
I had been told this was a sign the treatment was working, and I assumed that this would pass, I have many side effects achy all over is how I will some that up, as well as my eye sight has really taking a beating. Is this normal?
