I am updating old thread because I just got 12 week blood draw results after treatment ended in early May, AGAIN UNDETECTABLE. I was anxious about this draw because @ week 4 of treatment, we reduced riba from 1200 mg a day to 800 mg.
Feels very good! Next blood work beginning of November.

Hi Roxie, good to hear from you again, and that`s fantastic news!! Very well done for getting to the end of your difficult tx and congrats on your 4 wk post tx Und result, I`m very pleased for you!
It usually takes a few weeks for recovery to really start kicking in, and it sounds like you`re doing great already with increased energy and losing those horrible side effects. The heartburn must have been particularly unpleasant on top of everything else.
Many thanks for sharing your good news and for such a positive sounding post, it`s so good to hear.
Do keep in touch and let us know your 12 week results. Looking forward to hearing more good news onwards and upwards to SVR!

I made it through. Last INF shot was 5/2 and last sovaldi & ribavirin was May 8th.
Got the results today from last Friday's viral load test. Still undetectable. WHICH MAKES IT ALL SO WORTH IT. I will go for 12 week after EOT blood work the beginning of August, then 24 week beginning of November.
I am feeling a little less itching and bat****crazy rage every day. The last month was tough, felt like I was saturated with ribavirin that caused killer heartburn. I had to start on a proton pump inhibitor which I have now been able to quit with no problems. I even did a mile walk last night, so energy level is coming back. It's a very good feeling.
This group has been such a valuable resource for me. I want to thank you all. And you folks still on treatment, hang on!! It will get better soon.
