Groupergetter, so glad it was a false alarm. What lab portal was it, Quest, LabCorp or your medical facility's?...Would be good to know in case this happens to others. We don't need to be having a cardiac arrest just when we are about to be cured!!!
Congrats on being UND at the end of your treatment. I am praying hard for all of us.
Thanks Maddie, the labs were drawn at my PCP. The person drawing the labs requested the wrong CPT which was reported differently. And yes I was very concerned. Labs were sent to Quest. I know it shouldn't, but it still leaves lingering doubts until I can get the lab back that says undetected. Fortunately my doc ordered another draw at 4 then 12 weeks.

Hey Robert, congrats on the finish line, my friend! I know it's been tough for you. We did the same amount of time on treatment and thought I'd mention that it took several days for me to start coming around after stopping the meds. Continued to feel like crap for better part of a week, or so, then the improvements started to show up. Hoping you have a quicker turnaround, but don't be surprised if things continue to suck for a little while.
Greg - Equal congrats to you on EOT und. Give it some time. Another week or so I bet you're feeling much better.

I had my EOT labs drawn last week and as usual the vl was delayed. When the results came back, I was floored. The reported did not show undetected. I'm sure my blood pressure skyrocketed. I get results online thru the provider portal and usually see them before my doc. I was on the phone and email immediately. My doc didn't respond to me, I think because I had an appointment scheduled the next day. At my appointment yesterday my doc told me I was still UNDETECTED Whew if you are on tx or eot don't immediately freak out if your labs don't say "undetected" it can be in the way it is reported. This could drive a person nuts. Take care, hope all having a good weekend.

Thanks Robert, glad you're almost there. It's great to get to another milestone in treatment. Haven't noticed any improvements as yet. I've had this for many years so it may take time for the ole body to mend. Work has been hectic and my elderly mother whom I caregive for when not working has been sick, so I've been a bit consumed. A number of folks here are getting close to the end of tx. Hope all find SVR.
Glad to see Deb near eot and Taz stil counting down the days. Gator I plan to get back to fishing which I've really missed. Wasn't able to get in the sun much as the meds definitely gave me increased sensitivity. Hoping to regain some energy. Take care, getting ready to leave for work. Hope all have a Blessed day.

Congratulations Greg!!! Good to put the meds behind you and have SVR right around the corner.
My dad is also a WWII vet, although he passed away a few years ago. I saw that the old cemetery in Gainesville, FL put out flags on veterans graves, including my dad's. A nice thing for volunteers to do before Memorial Day.
Maybe you can catch a few reds as well as grouper. Good Eats!

Hearty congrats to you, Greg! You deserve this. Rest and enjoy. My dad's a WW II vet and still kickin'. We're losing them at the rate of several thousand per week, now. A humble bow to all, living and dead.

Hey Greg,
Congratulations Brother! I know the relief of taking that last pill or last injection. I still have the last injector pen and bottle the pills came in. They remind me of the battle. It will take you a day or two to wrap your mind around what you have accomplished and another day to get used to no more drugs. Enjoy what you have achieved and know that you did your best. Now it's time to rest and recover.
Thank you for mentioning our military. Today is a blessed day and a day to remember and honor the duty and sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform. <1% of the families in America have a member serving today, yet we all reap the benefits of their service. This is a day we should all spend honoring those serving, past and present. Salute...

Congratulations Grouper on completing the journey and achieving. Und. I think you will be fine but I'll have my fingers crossed with you.
Sorry to hear about your uncle. I have brothers and sisters too. The young men and women of that era sacrificed so much. They were truly the greatest generation.

Well done, Greg, congrats and welcome to Post Treatment...good to see you here!
Now you can relax and recover, and start looking forward to getting on with your life!
Wishing you all the best of luck with your EOT results, and don`t worry about your alt results..it often takes a while for the liver enzymes and other blood levels to settle down after you`ve finished tx, just give it a bit more time.
Keep us posted!

Took my last Sovaldi/Olysio Sunday morning and await results from lab work. Hoping and praying I remain UND. A little concerned as my liver profile results are back and my alt is up a bit from previous labs? Hope this isn't a harbinger. Still in the normal range, but disconcerting. Want to thank all for the continued support, caring, and smiles you've provided throughout the treatment. I get a kick out of seeing the SVR!in Malcolm's signature line.
Reading of other's good news, and winning the hard fought battle, gives great hope. Wonderful folks here, thank you. Hope to get my vl results back Tuesday or Wednesday.
My mom rarely cries but tomorrow is one of those times. Her only brother was lost in WWII. Freedom is not free, it is bought and paid for with a price. Please take a moment tomorrow to remember a veteran or say a short prayer for someone serving in active duty. Be well.
