Thanks HepC and Genuine Friends!
I can't believe I"m done! It truly went fast. I usually just an egg, a piece of eziekiel break and black coffee in the morning but I can also limit t coffee and a banana. no biggie.
I go see my doctor next week for the results and I'll be tested once a month after that for the three remaining months.
We're all in this together. It's such a new protocol and miracle it's pretty uncertain how it will pall pan out, but I'm counting on THE BEST CURE FOR US ALL!
Much gratitude.

Hi OMJ,
Congrats on completing your tx. That's a huge success and now your chances or SVR are excellent!
I would play your day out as you normally would when you go do blood work. I'm sure your AST/ALT will be in normal ranges regardless of the meal you eat or don't eat.
Keep us posted...

No, you don't need to fast for the blood work the lab will be doing, Omna.
Congrats on completing your treatment.

I ask my Doctor this they said It is ok to eat a little something for these test, just make it less as possible. I eat a banana with my meds and I have done this for six months with complete blood work every month with a phys exam. all test turned out fine. A strict fasting test is usually when you have glucose issues. If you fast and they are not looking at sugar, no harm done, If you don't fast and they do look at sugar, this may be a concern. If you gotta eat, just eat a banana you will be fine.

Hi everyone;
Today was my last day of taking my pills. It actually flew by. I'm taking my whole liver panel blood work tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knows with absolute certainty if I need to take the blood on an empty stomach or not? I heard it doesn't matter but then I've heard it does. Does anyone know for sure?
Obviously it's irrelevant with the VL but I'm not sure if all the rest of the tests such as AST, ALT require an empty stomach or not?
Thanks everyone! I'm grateful to be through this leg of the process and I'm praying for all of us that in three months I can share with you all that it WORKED and I'M CURED.
