Treatment: time of Day and with food - Consistency

I've wondered myself about this as my doctor had no advice and said nothing about foods or anything else to eat/avoid with Tx.
I have always taken my meds within 30 mins of the same hour, every day but with only a banana or whole grains. Hopefully I didn't cut myself short by not adding fat to the diet while administering meds.
Thanks for the good info, John.

It's o.k. if you only vary by an hour on any given day taking S/O. I had a couple of occasions where I needed to fast and didn't take meds for a few hours after 7:00 a.m., my regular time. My doctor was not concerned so long as I didn't skip a day.
Olysio (simeprevir) should be taken with food that has some fat for good absorption. I typically had low fat yogurt and some fruit before taking the combo. Maybe I should have included bacon.
This far along in tx, I wouldn't worry too much. Just try to be consistent for the remaining two weeks (maybe a little butter on toast) and you should be fine.

I am currently on the S/O combo, no Riba. I have two weeks left of treatment. For the first two months I took my meds at 8:10am every morning with food. In my last month I have been extremely busy with work and family and have not been as good about taking my medicine at the same time of day. I always take it within an hour of 8:10am but not consistently with food. How much does the time of day and taking it with food matter?
