Sorry to hear that you are having a rough go of it! Hang in there...your halfway done. Your labs sound promising, so this could be the fix you needed. My husband is on the same medication (well, finished yesterday). He would sometimes wear sunglasses to read (how weird is that?) in the house because it helped with the glare.
Good luck!

New to the Forum, wanted to vent what I am going through with the S/O treatment. Actually it is not compared to the first treatment in 2005, which I did not finish, I was so sick my Dr. took me off the treatment.
I am starting my 6th week, taking the 2 pills daily, week 4 my VL went from mls to 35,(good sign) my Alt& ASP were normal or below.
Light really bother my eyes even tv and computer time I have cut down, I cover up when outside long sleeves, big hat, long skirts and sunglasses. Lots of good sunscreen, my lips get blisters on them and I have decided it is from the windshield glaring back, I may get the white masks and seen if that helps. I have my days and nights mixed up so sleep little at night and lots during the day, still have the no energy, and fatigue. Hard to cook because I have no energy am drinking full meal shakes and greens, with fruit smoothies. I know it could be lots worse> I am a gen 1 with stage 4 liver damage. I drink lots of water.
