I so agree . This is an exciting time for the hep community and in my personal opinion for GT1's. In the very near future there will be no more HCV ever. When I found out I had it I had no clue what it was or what it could possibly do to you, I was shocked. Sadly there really hasn't been much HCV awareness as I never heard anything until I tested positive. Seems so strange b/c there are millions of us walking around with it

Okay, I wondered if that wasn't what you meant, but I wanted to be sure. I'm glad that you chose the path you've taken and put that lifestyle behind you. Unfortunately many people that did, have found out years later that they were exposed to HCV and other illnesses. Fortunately medical science has improved and is working to resolve the many health related problems that resulted from it. Regardless of how we were exposed to this dreadful disease, the important thing is we're hopefully going to see an end to it in the near future and we're going to see an end to it together!! It's a great time to treat and with the advances in medicine, it just keeps getting better and better!

I went through Interferon treatment twice. It's a very powerful drug and some people dont tolerate it well at all. You're not alone in that respect. Your new protocol is very powerful as well and you should do much better.

Sometimes it takes time to get a response, so should you not get an immediate reply, don't be concerned. There is usually someone available fairly quickly.

You beat me to it! You're definitely going to be experiencing treatment side effects at this stage. Hopefully you'll notice some leveling off of these symptoms as you progress. But you're going to have to accept some limitations as well. These are powerful drugs and they will affect you in this manner. Don't make too many demands of yourself until you know how you will respond to them.

Hello! There you are! We all suffer from both problems before and during treatment. Where are you in your treatment profile? Have you started yet?
