Hi Ron,
Fatigue is normal and to be expected. You're going to experience a degree of anemia from these medications and fatigue is always a side effect. You'll be monitored through treatment with routine blood tests to determine your status. Treat yourself right, get lots of rest, eat right and a very important thing to stay on top of, is adequate hydration. You should maintain a minimum water intake of 2-3 liters of good filtered water daily. That alone will very often help reduce your fatigue and control, if not prevent the headaches so many Sovaldi patients complain of. Good luck!

Thanks Mike,
I am hoping that the little fatigue i feel now will not get worse, But I do have a back up plan so we shall see! My wife teases me all the time and say's I look for the worst, But i plan for the worse and hope for the better! It is always good to plan, just not plan the outcome. Only time will tell, thanks for the support everyone!

That's great Ron. Side effects sure do vary among people. I also feared what would happen based on some of the horror stories I had read about. But after starting treatment I was like you with very little significant issues. I'm feeling a little fatigued most of the time but nothing that gets in the way of me doing things - It just takes a bit more time sometimes.
As Huey said, the 'lack of energy' thing gets worse as we go, but I suspect that for some people (like you and I) who don't suffer as bad from side effects, even that will be very doable.
My sister has a horse farm in Ocala FL, where I lived 2007-2009 and hope to return someday soon. I remember my girlfriend and I having such a great times doing Tampa nights! Gotta love FL!!!

Hello everyone! It has been a great day so far. All doses morning and night done for the day and the only side effect was a slight headache this afternoon. I did have a slight case of a runny nose this morning, not sure if it is from meds or not. I am hoping that these are the worst side effects there are. I have heard horror stories but I am not worried that this will happen to me!? I will do the best I can to keep a positive attitude during this treatment. Other than that the day was great, we went out for lunch and a nice cruise to Tampa. I am very fortunate that I work for myself so I can take time off if needed. I pray that everyone on here has had a great day also and life is good! Thanks for being here.
