Not a day goes by since UND date that I don't appreciate not having Hep C coursing unchecked through my body.
No longer co-infected! I never imagined I'd be saying this in my lifetime!

Wow, CD-4 = 600 is almost normal. Taking your Rx's faithfully has worked well for you and has put you in an excellent position for living a healthy, Hep C free rest of your life. And I'm right behind you cheering you on and just "mirroring" away back here.

This is especially good news to me Sara because I am co-infected and cirrhotic also. I hope I can duplicate your success @ my EOT +12 wks (4-1-2015).
Quick questions if you don't mind: What is your HIV viral load and CD-4? And what effect, if any, did Hep C treatment have on these?
Enjoy your Hep C free future!

Outstanding, Sara! For all of us cirrhotics that have reached SVR, I wish that we all continue to have unremarkable ultrasounds, free of liver complications. I hope amazing things remain a part of your future in all facets of your life. Good luck and stay in touch.

Hi Sara,
Congratulations on your very good news!! This will hopefully provide you with a renewed strength and outlook for the future. No longer are you "co-infected", that alone is a fantastic accomplishment! One down and one to go... Take this as a sign of great things to come and take the fight to your remaining battle, with a renewed desire to win! I know you can do it!

I did it! SVR!!! Hep C RNA NON DECECTED! Platelets remain low at 73. AST 28 ALT 21. Liver ultrasound 8/14 unremarkable.
It's been an anxious wait since my last lab report was EOT in June.
Considering I'm cirrhotic AND co-infected with hiv - this is AMAZING!!!
I am SO grateful for this forum and especially those who supported me through treatment - it is truly appreciated.
Thank you Malcolm, pl1952, Peter and Caryn.
