my liver jitters now and did before I had my bladder out, and i had my bladder out wile on tx. Not too many folks can say that. So I would rule out the gull-bladder as it made no difference in me. Other than that , I can not say. I am also SRV so no difference in outcome of treatment is indicated in my case as well.

I love those crispy pea snack thingys, but have a hard time digesting them myself, so I no longer eat them.
For me getting my protein from eggs and milk has seemed much easier on my digestion than beef, pork, lamb, chicken.

Hi Dzdayscomin, Thanks for info. Because I have Rx hang over from 1/2 dose of 1/2 doses , the doc wrote 1/2 tab of 5mg Q 8 PRN. Do u know if dairy protein is as bad for cirrhotics as meat protein? Read it isnt but would like to know 4 sure. There is a snack called Snap Crisps; made from peas, has 5G protein and 5G fat per service. I love them and for a crispy snack it doesnt get much better: 3% of sodium/65mg. Best Wishes ... Michaele

I drink milk daily with my breakfast drink and have the blessing from all my docs on that.
The crisps sound great low sodium and fat and proteins. ..can't see anything wrong with that, plus they sound delicious!

Don't dismiss the roxi...... if it's 5mg IR small dose it will make a world of difference in your quality of life, it not only takes the edge off the abdominal discomfort, it improved my appetite dramatically because digestion was not as uncomfortable, i gained like nearly 20 lbs regaining muscle mass which I so desperately needed,if you are afraid of abuse or have those tendencies remember that pain meds work best in those that truly need them and dependency is less likely, i have been using it for a couple yrs almost (i think) and i can stop taking it for a week and have no crave for it but do notice just how much improved my life has been, and how much discomfort my body is in.
I'm not sure how it was prescribed, but if its 5mg IR my regimen when i started was 1 pill in the morning and one before dinner the buzz feeling you will get initially will be un-noticble after time. If its a 20 pill prescription and their treating this like your only in pain or discomfort once and a while then I don't feel as if they are prescribing for the right reason, if it's Extended release you have to be very careful about stacking, as a damaged liver takes longer to fully metabolize it...again just what I know, but trust your doctor and if they are concerned, offer to sign a controlled substance contract with them, this locks you in to one doc and one pharmacy so the DEA and both dispensers have that comfort level your not selling it....i wouldn't part with one pill for any price, to give you an idea what its done for me.
Oh yeah i used to get that flutter it would seem to happen when i bent over or twisted in a way that would squeeze the liver, also i have had prob oems in the past with hemmoroids and when i applied or inserted prep H or what ever, that would also trigger that flutter?never told anyone that before because it was a TMI type of thing lol

Hi, Went to GP 2day, had metabolic panel and lipase blood draws. Ultra Sound 2 B done next week. They dont think its gas, its the GB. Anyhow got Roxicodone, which I doubt I'll take. My GI's nurse called back after she talked to Dr. said if Im really in a bad way they could slip me in with the PA. Left her a message about what happened @ the GP. So unless the blood work and U/S are dire; I wont be going in for a while and will just followup with the GP for now. Love Ya All A Bunch.... Michaele

Tig56, thanks again, Ive had gallstones for several years, had an ultra sound 6 mo ago, I have spots on my spleen, spots on my pancrea, and a bunch of spots on the liver. Had all of those for yrs and had biop on pancrea and in the red spots in my stomach. I get ultra sounds every 6mo and CT every yr with and W/O contrast , & endo every yr. Im so tired of tests. I used to be an RN, but havent worked since 2001. And things change quickly; I havent kept up. Truth is Im getting older and falling apart. Guess I just need to learn to deal with it. LOL . Michaele

I had GB problems as well, but when it flared up, it hurt and hurt bad. There are some things that can go wrong with one, and an ultrasound should be done to get a visual exam of it. That will tell them a lot, such as size and the possibility of gall stones. I ended up having mine removed laparoscopically, it was a simple procedure and no more troubles!

Hi Michaele,
I'm going to agree with Tim that the rumbling (bubbling feeling) you're experiencing is likely gas. I know the feeling and experienced it. Mine was occasionally accompanied by pain, but it passed quickly. Can you change positions when this is happening and feel it moving or changing location? Have you tried an anti flatuent (gas) medication? You can get it over the counter. Things like Pepto Bismol or simple antacids work well too. With any medication or condition like this, you should contact your doctor for advice and approval. The gastroenterologist or specialist handling your treatment is the doctor I would approach with these questions.

Hi Michaele,
Hopefully your GI can find the cause. I'm thinking that the duodenum and the first right-angle bend of the large intestine are near the general area of the liver. I have experienced what you describe, but only infrequently. Please let us know what your GI says.

Hi all, does anyone have that pulsing fluttering feeling around BG or Liver. Like bubbles bursting. Not painful, just worrisome. Been having them several times a day 24/7. Not sure which Dr, to call . The GI who referred me to the infection disease for med tx , or the med tx Dr. I just left a message at the GI I have been seeing for yrs........ Any answers will be welcome..... Michaele
