I have nothing but praise for the people at my specialty pharmacy "Skyemed". I've learned that they were the "movers and shakers" in ascertaining the off-label S/O. The only thing the Dr. did was to prescribe it and then write a letter of necessity--which is vital but the "procedural-based grunt work" was handled by Skyemed. The University of Miami is a big inefficient bureaucracy (like most large hospitals).
Everyone I talked to at Skyemed pharmacy seemed to be above average intelligence and very friendly. Just the opposite is true for everyone I have been involved with at the University of Miami, i.e., below average intelligence and rude and just plain lazy.

Hi Sherry, Yes there are others here that have been on these two drugs alone. I treated earlier this year, attained svr12 and recently attained svr24.
Glad to hear that the specialty pharmacy you are dealing with has taken such an interest in other meds you will be on.
I believe more meds than originally thought may affect bioavailability of the drugs.
Much luck on your treatment. ~Maddie

I have a great medical team and approaching this from a integrated treatment approach. My Tx is being handled by a third party pharmacy which delivers my meds and answers my questions about side effects. Prior to shipping my first month's meds, they called and went over every supplement I am on and was interested in using during the treatment. They looked up every item of every supplement and discussed them with me respectfully and intelligently and I really respect this. I had not opted for treatment since my diagnosis 2006 as the cure rate just wasn't there and worth the side effects. I treated with natural supplementation to restore some health and protect my liver as best I could with this fast moving virus. Earlier this year with new treatments and I noticed I was starting to lose ground I went back to my digestive specialist. I started my treatment September 30. I have had some problems with extreme irritability of which I try to laugh at myself. I have had increased liver inflation and brain fog, but for the most part each day is getting better. My first labs are on 10/15 and my appointment with my specialist the following Monday.
