This test was ordered at my very 1st appointment with my PCP. I was not requiring treatment for any condition requiring antidepressants or antipsychotics at that time but he was aware of my HIV/HCV. That's why I was asking. But it may just be a routine test given to new clients of this Dr.

This metabolic panel is looking at polymorphisms , It may be of some help but i don't see why they would need to know this.
