Thanks for your encouragement. I'm feeling somewhat better, but tend to get dizzy with bp unusually low. I do believe that in a couple of weeks, I will be better. How I look forward to that!!

Hello Debra
Besides all that airplane issue, you still made to the end of your 24 month so super congrats on the finishing. The the effect of ribavirin will likely take about two weeks to diminish but after that your energy will come back nicely. Looking forward to hearing your successful EOT plus 4 weeks UND.

You seem like pretty nice (for a cat) and I am sorry to hear you got so sick when you wanted to celebrate. My next flight I am considering traveling like this, only in a sandwich bag probably.

DJ---so sorry your day had to be ruined by those physical problems. But you have a great attitude and many tools to work with! Everything can begin to look up from here. The past is over, the future hasn't come, only today matters. Be grateful for it and take care of yourself.
Blessing to you.

Thank you so much Tig. You are absolutely right, I have been under so much pressure. I guess my mind and my body just couldn't take anymore. I'm finally giving myself a day of rest and I guess I will rest tomorrow as well. I can always see my buds on the next trip. You are very insightful...I too thought that it was somewhat of a mental, emotional and physical meltdown...but I immediately dismissed it. You are right on. Be blessed my brother.

Hi Debra,
I'm so sorry you had to deal with this at all, but especially on your last day of medication! You've been under such pressure lately, perhaps it was a combination of everything and it hit you all at once. I'm so happy that you're done with that awful routine. You'll be feeling much better once you clear those drugs from your system. Time to try and relax and hopefully get yesterday morning's memory out of your mind. Let the recovery begin!! Congrats....

I immediately let everyone know that it wasn't ebola. I know how fearful people are right now. I have been traveling for years and never got sick before. Of course I got the scorn face from some, but I know how to deal with that. The airline didn't ask any questions because they know who I am. I am a frequent flyer...so I'm sure they figure if they need to contact me they know how. I feel better today than yesterday, no hurling or emitting, just an overall feeling of blah.

Yesterday was to be a day of celebration. After 24 weeks on Sovaldi and Ribavirin, I took my last dose at 9am in the Charleston Int Airport on my way to NYC. What joy I felt to have completed the treatment and that now I would not have to be on that 9am regimine anymore. However, as the plane took off, my stomach started flipping and freaking. I searched aimlessly for the bag, but to no avail. Then suddenly the volcano erupted and thank God for the guy sitting next to me who grabbed his bag and gave it to me. By this time I was a mess. I have been feeling yucky ever since. Needless to say, my weekend of worship at the Brooklyn Tabernacle and hanging out with my AA buddies, was shot. I got sick like this about a week or two into treatment. I was weak, throwing up and having diarreah. I now also have intense aches and pains in my right leg and hip. I wonder if I have food poisoning or maybe my body was rejecting the meds. When I threw up, all I could taste was meds. I pray to feel better soon so I can have at least a couple of days with my buds.
