I registered with CCO earlier this year and have watched a few presentations. They don't bombard you with emails or anything like that. They send alerts about upcoming presentations pertaining to your areas of interest and that's about it. User friendly IMO.
Wayne is the one who turned me onto this web site when he posted a link months ago. I'm actually surprised that they are allowing the public to view CME presentations as most are exclusively for health care professionals (you have to give your licensing info) and most are quite expensive to attend. As far as I can tell this will be a live webcast directly from the AASLD conference in Boston. Very cool.
Excellent resource, Wayne.

So, after you sign up they send you an email confirmation and all you have to do is log in at the given time. Note that it starts at 7pm EST on Sunday so if you are in a different time zone you will need to adjust the time accordingly. I feel a little like a gate crasher, but hey, nobody stopped me. I am assuming they will send a link to the webcast before the event with a pass code.
Here is what you will receive after you register:

The 65th Annual AASLD meeting will be underway soon. For docs who are unable to attend in person there is webcast option for a 2 hour presentation on HCV tx. Just thought the agenda might be of interest to us patients as well. I especially like the presentation about "Showing Interferon the Door."
