bill,
i'm tickled pink to learn of your progress!!!!!! congratulations are well deserved.
as jill succinctly stated you are a warrior for all you went through during your 12 month ordeal. it pleases me so to learn how well you're progressing. i always looked forward to hearing your progress when i was on the 6 mo. inciveck plan. you were an inspiration & hope towards my recovery, thank you.
soon the last of the mohicans will be joining the 1 year svr club; i believe julie/dustbear, kelly, tig & myself.
finally in the realm of life, so what if we're not 100% yet, we are blessed & lucky to have had the courage to complete our daunting tx!!!!! perhaps/perchance it makes our recovery so much more meaningful. i know for a fact i'm a much stronger person as a result of it & you are as well!!!! if you're happy & you know it clap your hands!!!!!
be well,

It looks so magical with the light snow covering, Bill, what a pretty scene. A bit chilly though I should say!
Interesting to hear how you use the yellow birch tree buds and the fungus for their health benefits, and I know that many plants and trees contain medicinal compounds.

Hi there Bill, I`m so glad you stopped by and it`s great to hear how well you`re doing now, one year on.
Very well deserved too, after the ordeal you went through during your treatment and with your marriage breaking up, you were an inspiration to us all in the way you kept on going and never gave up, and that must have taken a lot of courage and determination.
I`m sure you`ll go from strength to strength from now onwards and have a much better life ahead of you. Enjoy your fishing, and do keep in touch! ~ Jill
Great photo of your girls too, thanks!

Hi Bill,
Great to hear from you buddy.
Glad to hear you're doing well. It took me a year as well, to get over our hellish treatments. Glad the divorce worries are almost over. Man, you didn't need that. Stay well! Cheers.

Well hello all, long time since I posted a friend K reminded me so sorry not to have kept in touch, They said it would take a year and they were right everything back to normal, kidneys recovered and put a little weight back on. feeling fairly well. Almost finished with divorce she had walked out with 8 weeks left of treatment, did have to have 2 blood transfusions post treatment so was a total of 4 2 bagers, joke is with so much new blood may have came from a priest or a hooker lol. Girls are doing great and were strong support as long as this forum and people in Sudbury. Just try to get through the treatment you will know who your friends truly are, take time to build up strenght with rest and healthy food, even got to fish this year but nothing too strenuous may have to chnge life style but not yet "No fool like an old fool" as K said must show my gratitude and keep in touch

It's very satisfying to me to hear that you have recovered after all that trouble you endured during treatment.
Good for you!

What a beautiful part of the world you live in, Bill, even if the winters are harsh! Are those silver birch trees with the white bark?
