I'm so happy to hear the good news Tess! It's nice to see your memory and mood improving daily, even if you're stuck inside during the cold winter weather. Be sure to open the curtains and get as much sunshine inside, that always helps make the day brighter and happier. Keep up your great attitude. Your positive nature is sure to help as well! Stay in touch and keep us informed of your progress. Good luck...

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou I have mixed feelings as it is still sinking in. I did this alone except for the forums as they were the only place to read and talk about hepc and treatment. Being winter here I feel even more secluded as I am in a country setting and retired.
I am totally on the mental and physical mend...........My head is clearing more and more and my memory seems to be getting better. It is as though the constant mental fatigue I had is melting away.

Hey Tess
Congrats on making it to the EOT, its one of those days with mixed emotion, glad you through but the safety net is now gone.
The way I would look at it you have been setup to achieve great success now its up to you and your body, good habits and healthy eating to carry you the rest of the way.
Whatever happens your future is bright

Treatment for me has ended and I am "not detectable" after over four decades. I have NO after side effects, just feel good.the tired feeling I had for years even after a goodnights sleep is completely gone. Only been few days since I stopped meds, but, cheeks are already getting color back. During last month of treatment I looked pale and tired all the time. Wanted to post this so there was a completely positive one re post treatment. My head is still clearing some from the meds, but, I am positive that will pass as everything else. Itching is almost gone, but, still there a little at times. My appetite is huge thoughfood is tasting better it seems, not sure if that is real or just that I am hungrier. hahaha My blood work will be tested again in February, then only yearly after that along with regular bloodwork by primary dr. Not sure I will need a gastro anymore for some time. yay!!
