Had rough night with foot/leg cramps and sweating. I go in for lab tests tomorrow. I can deal with these sides, as long as my labs are good. Thank goodness for take-out turkey dinners.
Happy Thanksgiving!

HI SS. I have had some side effects, especially the first couple weeks. Flushes, night sweats, chills and side aches mostly. I think my body is slowly adjusting. I have fatigue now more than anything else. SEs are tolerable, but present. And the time is flying by, thankfully.
Grats on your approval! When do you start?

There is one consideration that should be made when it comes to marijuana use. Many insurance carriers are requiring the patient to be alcohol and drug free for 6 months prior to approval. These same restrictions apply throughout treatment. If you used a marijuana product and were then asked to submit a new sample for drug screen, you risk being denied the continuance of care. Even a small amount of THC stays in your system for weeks following use. I would be sure before risking this. It's something to think about.

Happy for you to get going on Harvoni!
Day # 12 for me, a bit of insomnia BUT on the plus side, decreased itching, increased appetite (altho that can be a bad thing eventually! LOL)
Feeling good! SO much different then Riba, infergen or incevik treatments of my past...
Even my husband says I am pleasant to be around ;)
Wishing the best for you and all those in need of treatment!

Congrats on getting approval, for the present that may be the most difficult SE of the Harvoni. Headaches and insomnia for me, but not too bad. Compared to other tx a walk in the park. Some have said no SE at all. Good luck, hope this does it for you.
