Sounds like a great start. I had about the same start as you....then progressively felt more energy thru treatment. Now end of treat +8 weeks I'm undetectable and feel great! Hope the same path for you!

John,
I'm sure you know but just in case:
Especially tell your healthcare provider if you take any of the following medicines:
an antacid that contains aluminum or magnesium hydroxide. If you take an antacid during treatment with HARVONI, take the antacid 4 hours before or 4 hours after you take HARVONI.

Hey John
Good to see all is well in your world with Harvoni. Sounds like Gilead's Support Path was really fast in there getting your the Tx.
I may have to go that route, I should know something this first week of Dec. if my appeal is approved or not, but knowing how BCBS is delaying everything and everyone I would not be surprised if I see yet another excuse.

Hi John,
I started on Harvoni around the same time as you. Tonight will be my 4th dose and so far it has been a lot like you described. A little headache, some body aches, a little foggy but overall not much different from the way I was feeling before.
The only medication I've taken was Fosamax for bone density, which my primary and gastro docs both want me to stay on, 1x per week. Fosamax can cause stomach upset after it's taken but I had no reaction, at least for the first dose while also on Harvoni.
Best of luck! Lets beat this thing!

John,
It sounds like you are doing well on treatment. I am wishing you all the best!
I just reached 3 week mark, and cannot believe how good I feel compared to the last few treatments I was on! And my labs are improved!
Have a great day!

HARVINI: Day 3, All and all, feeling pretty darn good. Only a little bit of a slight headache. only a few times. Just a slight achy, not much. A little tired here and there. A little brain foggy. The only other meds I have taken in three days are a multivitamin +50 and a baby aspirin. I had indigestion almost every night before I started Harvoni. I took Zantac 150, and 2 Antacid tablets, almost every night, around 1AM. Hardly no indigestion now. I also had a lot of pain in my legs at night, no leg pain now. I am drinking around 6 bottles of water a day, and eating whatever I feel like eating, normal appetite. I want too take as little medication as I can while on Harvoni. I so want too be cured this time around. Over 10 years too wait for a miracle cure is a long time for a lot of us. You all have a great day.
