It isn't the speed of the drugs its the duration. Clearing the virus from our blood is one step toward SVR and a very important one, but the rest of the body is another and the biggest and certainly most imperative area to clear of any and all virus is the "LIVER" and this takes time and duration.

John, You going und at two weeks is great, looking at your signature line and your treatment history I would say NO WAY could the cut you back from 24 weeks, you need 24 weeks to kill it for good. I'm pulling for you man, get it done!! RC

iam genotype 1a cirrhosis (sp) did 12 weeks sovaldi riba & interferon.. & bing.. it was gone.. they never mentioned 224 weeks to me.. hmmm.. good luck.i got the faith in ya!!!

Once a prescription goes in for 24 weeks is it in stone or can the doctor rip the rug out after 12 and say it is enough? Just curious and paranoid seeing I am undetected at week 2.
