Welcome abroad what we're calling the Harvoni train! Looks like Julia, Fourlocos, and I have
started on Harvoni close to the same time. My treatment will also be for 12 weeks and I just
took pill #4. So far there is no side effect that I can pin on the Harvoni, just the usual
aches and pains for my age. Be sure and continue to share Julia's progress and any
concerns, but so far it's been smooth sailing as far as side effects and hopefully
the same for Julia.

Cost The wholesale list price of Harvoni is $1,125 per pill. That means a two-month supply is approximately $63,000, a three-month supply is $94,500 and a six-month supply is $189,000.
Congratulations!! I know you've been waiting and concerned about Julia's health. The wait has paid off and it sounds like she has a terrific doctor! She should do very well on this protocol, with fewer side effects, if any. I'm looking forward to hearing all the updates as she progresses with treatment. If you have any questions, you know we're here for you. I'm including some info on Harvoni and its actual price, $3000 is just over double the actual price, but still far too expensive! Good luck!

Hi,
Julia has started Harvoni treatment! We found a nice physician, Dr. Li, who speaks Mandarin, in New York. She got her first month's medication. Our insurance is paying for it completely. It's $3,000 a pill. I feel as if she's swallowing gold. The doctor thinks the treatment will be 12 weeks. Although she doesn't have any liver damage, her viral load shot up to 12 Million. She has been on the new medication about a week, just one pill a day. We feel sympathetic to those pioneers before us who had to take interferon, etc. Anyway, we'll let everyone know how the treatment comes out and feel thankful that we came to this forum and got such good information and support here, and we hope to be supportful to those who come later.
