I can finally answer some of these important questions.

Answer to # 1 With my insurance BCBS the Harvoni /Gilead's Coupon counts as if it was paid out of your own pocket So it counts towards your deductible and would clear it so you will pay nothing, Or if you have a co-pay situation it will gobble all but your part ($5.00 or more) 

Answer to # 2  The coupon should work with either scenario, locally or mail order.

I had to stumble into the correct part of the insurance company to get this info, but it was the person who explains your pharmacy benefits.

Hey All

Was looking for real world insight on how the Harvoni or other HCV drugs prescription Coupons are being processed.

Question # 1 - Are most Insurance company considering the Gilead /Harvoni /Sovaldi coupon the same as out of pocket expense toward the deductible threshold?

Question # 2 - Does the policy holder have the get there Meds. from a physical Pharmacy or can the discount coupon work with mail order specialty pharmacies like Prime Therapeutic or Express Scripts ?

Question # 3- Has any member had to pay more that they thought with the Gilead coupons?

If you have any experience with these question or if you have other insight please relate them.
