That's incredible news! I can't imagine the disappointment that stopping treatment caused. The bottom line is you're doing great now and look at those LFT's! Impressive... This just made my week.
Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the comments. Also, I would like to add that for the first time in my life NOTHING was flagged in my lab work as "out of range". I had these test performed:
COMPREHENSIVE METABOLIC PANEL, CBC (INCLUDES DIFF/PLT), PROTHROMBIN TIME-INR, HCV RNA, QUANTITATIVE REAL TIME PCR
Below are the labs that excite me the most:
ALT 9
AST 17
Platelets: 167
HCV RNA,...

<15 IU/mL

Great news, Skewed! It just demonstrates the effectiveness of the Tx available now versus the Inf/Riba days. Onward to SVR!

Hey Skewed,
Brother!!!! That's fabulous news! If you've made it to week 8, your chances of achieving SVR are high. After week 4 the odds improve greatly, after week 8 they are close to the week 12 results. Your odds are currently around 98-99% and those are excellent odds in my book! Congratulations and keep up the positive attitude, it will hold you through to the finish line! Good luck buddy....

As some of you know, I had to stop my Sovaldi/Olysio treatment at 6 weeks due to numerous heart flutters. Now I have been off of treatment for 8 weeks and I'm still UND. I have to believe that this is great news. By the way, the heart flutters and chest pain are slowly going away.
