None. I had a VL in 2013 and it was over 2.5 m. (uninsured)

Hey Rudi
Just curious, what weeks have you had a viral load check?
If I was going to have only one test after EOT, I personally would choose 4 week after end of treatment. Just me, but any time you receive a UND lab result it was a good time to take it.

I was going to skip the EOT viral load test and just do the 12 week post treatment to save $$. My Yoda-like reasoning - it is, or is not.
My family wants me to get it and suggested since I'm in the states already, to just get it now, 19 days prior to EOT as it might cost less here.
I thought I was fine skipping it, but got excited when I started thinking about the chance to see those promising, and much longed for letters; UND.
I think I saw somewhere that it's only one US lab that does the actual processing of that test? Quantitive Real Time PCR I think it's called? If so, it's going to cost about the same anywhere. At home it would be around $300. Is there more than one kind of VL test? Is there one that is better than the other?
If anyone knows of a lab, I'm in South Carolina and heading to Raleigh, NC in a few days. I could also wander down to Savannah.
