Bills.. I just saw your post about the brain fog treat. The answer is, I don't know, or I just forgot, but I will get the info and send to you. I cant find the post where you asked me so did it here... I do know the best will be to get rid of this "dumb" virus" as they kept saying the other night.

The complete mapping of the Human genome is like the invention of fire or electricity, etc. All meds for me, for instance, will be tailored to me. They can grow teeth, ears, and someday limbs etc.
They get further along everyday...

I couldn't agree more! It has been exciting to see the improvements to both treatment and rates of success. It wasn't too long ago we we're dealing with awful side effects, lower rates of SVR which meant relapse after relapse. It was difficult to see our friends here suffering, but it brought us all close. It has allowed us to all celebrate the introduction of these new protocols together, old SOC's with the new. It has shown us old timers, those that waited for a non interferon path and those of us that relapsed time and again that our efforts were both worthy and beneficial. The pioneers that got us to this current level of success should be proud of what they accomplished. It's only going to get better and I'm glad to know that those of you fortunate enough to be receiving these new protocols, don't realize it yet, but one day soon you will be the next generation of pioneers and will hopefully be here to witness the end of this disease. Together we will conquer HCV...

The truth is that these drugs work as other posts will testify; how they affect you at the time is another matter; I have found it difficult but I am 3 months UND after Solvadi and Daclatisvir + Ribarvarin. 2 lots of the Interferon/ Ribavarin affects how I have reacted to my treatment. So happy to see the Hep train losing carriages one by one, we will win in the long run. Whoa life is good - I'm going to have a bop round the living room to the Elvis Singer Special.
