My A1C has risen since I started Harvoni. Anyone else have this happen to them, too?
My husband started Harvoni on Nov 24th. On Nov 4th before starting Tx his glucose was 85
On Dec 23rd. glucose was 50 and on his last blood test on Jan 20 it was 153. during his last Tx with Inciveck/Riba/Interferon his sugar used to go up and down. His doctor never made a point of it.

Thanks, Tig. I am sure my current "sit on my patootie " lifestyle isn't helping any. I have had this URI for the entire month so far and feel like crap and do not have the energy to even walk the beach. So I guess it is my fault can't blame it on Harvoni.
But I did receive my last 2 week shipment of Harvoni today!!!

Hi Mugsy,
i saw your question and started looking for information. I saw the occasional forum response of people that mentioned the same thing but it wasn't very common or mentioned much. One thing to remember is your pancreas and liver work together and there is always the possibility of adverse effects due to treatment. I know from experience, during my triple Tx my A1c elevated too. The doctor said it was definitely Tx related and wasn't concerned. Sure enough after I finished, the A1c normalized.
