Great news, Mark, congrats on your 8 week result!
Your numbers are looking very good indeed and you have every reason to be happy about how your treatment is going I do understand your caution after last time but this is a very different and more powerful treatment than the victrelis triple you did.
It`s great that you`re not getting any side effects, and that must have been a big relief for you!
You`re doing great..onwards and upwards!

Hi Mark,
Hey that's fantastic! Your numbers look excellent and lets just say they will continue to get better! I can relate to the old triple Tx, man did I feel bad... It's great to see people like yourself getting an easier ride this time around. Lord knows you deserve it!
Keep us in the loop and continued good luck!

Tests came through today. Geno 1A
Previous HCV,RNA Quant TMA <43IU/mL now <15 undetected
HCV, RNA Quant bDNA <1,63log 10 <1.18
Tumor Marker 8.3 5.9
ALT 88 35
AST 64 30
I am very happy about this but also cautious. I relapsed at 6 months post INT/RIBA/VICTRELIS and had tested undetected at 8 weeks and at the end of treatment. So, the real test for me will be about 9 months from now. The immediate difference is the lack of side effects. During the INT/RIBA/VIC treatment I was pretty sick and had to recover after treatment which took months. I wasn't really able to sense what it was like to be SVR. This time I am starting to notice some changes and look forward to determining what it will be like to live without Hep C.
