Hey Fish,
Does that say 48 weeks of Sovaldi/Peg/Riba? I haven't heard of a Sovaldi Tx that lasted that long! 48 weeks of anything is a long time! I'm glad you achieved your SVR. You deserved it after going through so many attempts. Congrats on your success!
Good idea to dump all the old personal care items too. I did that on week 4 and kept everything sanitized in bleach after that. I didn't buy new underwear however, but did bleach the "tighty whities"! I wish you continued good health and success!

For those that didn't see Ron's rendition of the Monster Mash, I thought you'd enjoy seeing it one more time! Sing it to the tune of the Monster Mash:
We all need a good laugh once in a while!
I was reading my labs late one night When my eyes beheld an eerie sight For red dots from my skin began to rise And then suddenly to my surprise
I had the rash I had the riba rash The riba rash It makes me want to smoke hash I had the riba rash It covered me in a flash I had the rash I had the riba rash
From my foot arches to my hair on my head, I wanted to itch my skin until it bled Six shots down and only forty two to go I thought it was the peg that was my foe

Hi Ron,
That's most excellent my friend, congratulations! Now that you have completed treatment, take pleasure in turning off the reminders and start enjoying the freedom away from these drugs. It's going to take a few months (or more) to clear the Riba, but many experience no trouble at all. just be careful in the sun, I was photosensitive for quite awhile. If you recall, you posted your own Riba remake of the Monster Mash lyrics. You should have a copy framed for future memory and (?) enjoyment! Every time I read that I crack up! That was good.
So relax and recover, you've traveled a long journey and as our Harvoni train pulls into the station for others here, it's time for you to exit the train, Sovaldi/Riba section, stage right. I look forward to your next report, and you know what that is, SVR 12. It's in the cards Ron, that I am sure! Good luck....
