Perhaps you could ask your PCP to order a viral load. That's what I would do but then I get so anxious I can be kind of manipulative. On the other hand, I think some of us need extra reassurance and even though it is not necessary it still makes things easier. So, you could say it is necessary to support emotional health.

Nice to see you again! I wouldn't be concerned at all about the 12 month test. SVR 12 and 24 really cement your results. You are definitely over the hump and have nothing to worry about. Congratulations on achieving your victory! Good luck!

During tx I was told blood tests were 3, 6 and 12 months post tx. At my 3 month post visit, I was told the 6 month was not necessary but I requested a test and all were undetected. March 7th was 1 yr post but now my doc refuses to do a blood test and will not do another blood test until September which will be 18 months post. Should I be concerned and request a test? Thank you for all input in advance.
