Great to hear, just started back on forum just to hear all the good news from fellow sufferers, way to go, this will be two years in August and yes life changes are great but slow, enjoy

 Thanks for sharing the good news Mary. We have had similar journeys. My first MRI for my liver lesion was in Novenber 2013 and continued on a once every 6 month schedule. Then last June the scheduled was changed to every 3 months, which was discouraging to me. I'm still having the MRI's every 3 months and the lesion still keeps showing little-to-no change. I return for another MRI / labs on Apr 15 and I am confident that I'll be SVR 15 with the lesion still stable. I'll still have that lesion in the back of my mind but I believe what mallani says about yours also applies to mine being benign.

 So I'm getting on with my life too and am enjoying every minute. I might be a bit happier if I had sought treatment before my liver was so badly damaged, but that can just be a good example to anyone who has still not decided to seek treatment... Happy endings are indeed possible!

Fantastic news! Obviously you should get a follow-up in 6 months, but your liver 'lesion' is almost certainly benign. Enjoy life. Cheers.

Wow! That's wonderful news! It's so nice to see what changes a year can provide. I know you've worked hard to achieve these successes. You have every reason to celebrate!

Last year at this time a CT scan and MRI followup discovered a  lesion in my cirrhotic liver that was showing  a probability of 80% likelihood of cancer. Went from thinking I was perfectly healthy to: "You've had Hep C for about 40 years, your liver is cirrhotic, and oh, by the way, we think you have cancer and will need a liver transplant".

 I started screening and tests for liver transplant last March. After treating with Sovaldi/Olysio I'm Hep C free and EOT24 SVR, as of the end of January.  The inflammation in my liver has decreased, and the lesion is stable according to a CT scan and 5 MRI's over the past 12 months.

What a difference a year makes: I'm Hep C free, good chance I don't have HCC, and am getting on with my life. I've gone from the pits of despair to a life of hope-

I'm posting this on the anniversary of my bad news last year to remind everyone that happy endings to the Hep C mess are possible- good luck to everyone thinking about starting treatment!
