I had a terrible time with nausea also, but I was on Sovaldi/Olysio. I eventually got a script for Zofran and it helped a lot but I also always had a pack of saltines with me and whenever I'd go out I'd have them in my purse. They served me well and I'm now undetectable at 16 weeks after end of treatment. Hang in there.

Hey Hill
Sorry to read of your issue, may I ask when are you dosing before bedtime or some other time?

are you getting bad headaches too? if so, dehydration c/b the culprit. it will cause bad headaches; the kind that will cause naseau. almost like a hangover type headache. drink a lot of water!!!! LOTS :) I would try that and maybe a ginger supplement to settle your stomach. Personally I'd only go the prescription route as a last resort.

Dear Hill,
I have also felt nauseous for the first few days of treatment (although mine was Viekira Pak, not Harvoni); however, it went away after a few days. Hang in there!

Hill,
Unfortunately nausea is one of the common complaints with Harvoni and with Sovaldi in general. It may pass shortly but if not, I can recommend you asking your doctor for a Rx medication called "Zofran" (Ondansetron). Many here, including myself used it across many different protocols and it's worth it's weight in gold.
Heres a link to several home remedies that you may have in your kitchen. Always let your doctor know of course before trying any OTC product.
Hello all. After 10 days of flu-like feelings plus some headaches, today I am nauseous. Going to request an anti-nausea drug from doctor as I must go to work the rest of the week....Anyone else?
