Let us know what your GE doc has to say. I agree that there are bad days that come along, sometimes more often than we'd like. I'm wishing you more of those good days however and want you to know we'll be here whenever you need some helpful encouragement! Hang in there....

Hi Rufus1
I hope this note finds you feeling better. Like Rubye, I was on Sovaldi Olysio for 12 weeks. For me I am having strange lingering side effects. Hope you get some relief . It has been difficult but hoping it gets better. My issues are still there, Tig mentioned ribivarin. I did not take that either, but still was affected by noint and muscle pain and inflamation, changes in my personality also. I've heard a year or so things will improve. Remember though, these are new drugs with unknowns. I certainly see it, but beating the virus is worth it.. Blessings Sunrise

It took me 12-13 weeks after end of treatment before I felt like I did before treatment. I was on Sovaldi/Olysio though. Hang in there.

Hi Rufus,
Sorry these side effects are still hanging on. It shouldn't be much longer really, but as Jill mentioned, it does vary. I don't see where you mentioned if you had to take Ribavirin. Did you? If so that can take a full 6 months to clear. If you haven't mentioned these difficulties with your doctor you might bring that up before your next appointment. Don't forget to keep up your increased hydration routine until these issues pass And stay well rested. That can often reduce some of these issues. Good luck...

Hi Rufus,
Sorry to hear you`re still having a struggle with low energy and brain fog, I`m sure it`s very frustrating for you. It`s natural to expect to shake off the lingering side effects quite quickly but actually I would say it`s still early days for you yet at 7 weeks post treatment, so try to be patient and give it a bit more time.
It does seem to vary quite a lot how quickly people recover from Harvoni treatment but it can be a slow process.
Wishing you all the best, hope you start picking up soon! I expect other people will have comments to add.
