I have not been feeling great either. But, of course, I'm old. I was supposed to go for my 2nd post SVR labs provided by Merck this week, but with tornados very near my house and severe thunderstorms forecast, I postponed my check. 150 miles roundtrip on freeways during severe thunderstorms sounded a little too scary for me.
A lesion on my pancreas was found in my regular scan for liver cancer (I have cirrhosis) and I will do my Merck follow up when I go for more info on the scan--rescheduled for June 1.
I don't think there is a lot of info on post treatment side effects because the latest drugs are too new. And I have only seen a couple of postings on Merck because their trials were small.
We may have other health problems that have not been addressed because we blamed Hep C for health problems. I do believe that my Hep C is gone so now I address all the little problems of old age--like short term memory .
I will let you know about my SVR + 11 months tests when I do them.

Hi Marcy,
I haven't heard or seen of anyone relapsing even after SVR 12 on these new combos but I can relate to you feeling tired. Maybe it's just our bodies adjusting after Tx? Statistically it's a .5% chance or less of relapsing but I still can't see that happening after SVR 24.
Many reports online suggest approximately 50% of "cured" patients are reporting that they feel no different after killing off the virus than they did with it. Interesting findings for sure!
After trying to research this possibility, there's not much to support the chance of relapse for either of us.
The only advice I can provide is to try exercising more and maintain a clean diet. I hope you start feeling more energetic soon. Enjoy life to the fullest!
Best,
-Rob

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has heard of the virus returning post SVR 24+. I have been super tired lately and I guess I'm a bit paranoid.
