Stormy,
Your BUN-creatinine ratio is just a bit high, as the upper limit of normal is 20. Just being a bit dehydrated can cause this. The worry is when your ratio is low, as that may indicate decreased lived function.
Many patients with a chronic viral illness have a slight decrease in absolute lymphocytes. It may also be due to the drugs. Don't worry about it. Cheers.

Thanks.. myself, like so many others really count on this site when treatment time arrives. It really makes it so much easier to have people to talk to who know what your talking about. Im ready to rock it!
And Stormy, your platelets don't really look very low. Just slightly low. Mine were well under 100 during treatment. Not sure about the other three markers. I'm sure somebody with more medical knowledge can comment on them.

You`ll be fine, Gracie, I`m sure you`ll take Harvoni in your stride after your previous treatments.
We`ll all be rooting for you!

Well that's good news as my counts went quite low. This shouldn't be too bad, at least thats what I'm hoping!

Hi Gracie,
With the telaprevir (incivek) triple therapy it`s the interferon that usually effects the platelet count and the ribavirin that causes anemia. Harvoni can come with side effects but they`re really not as vicious as the ones you would have experienced on your triple therapy, don`t worry!

I am curious - does harvoni cause low platelets or anemia?
Wouldn't be as bad as the teleprivir crap would it?
I'm sure if your just finished, you will need some time to get your strength back. Its a very powerful drug. Exercise if you can and eat well. You'll come around and probably feel better than you use to not having to worry about that nasty dragon on your heels.

Hi Stormy, well done for finishing your 8 weeks, good to see you in `Post Treatment` now!
Your lab results look fine, I don`t think you have anything to worry about there. Your platelets are on the low side but i expect they will improve as your body recovers, and the same with your other numbers. Your HGB is good at 14.1.
It`s quite usual to be feeling tired and generally `off` after being on such strong drugs for that long, just give your body (and mind) time to readjust and gradually you`ll notice the difference in your energy levels.
Let us know when you hear your viral load results and best of luck!

just finished my 8 weeks of harvoni and had a blood test yesterday. Some results are in, viral load isn't. Some of my numbers are off and wanted some feedback
PLT. 135. Low
HGB. 14.1. High
Auto lymphocyte absolute. .9 low
BUN/ creating ratio. 27.4. High
of course the doc won't be back till next week and probably won't getback to me until viral load is in..
i just feel so funky and tired, not sick, just off.
