Way to go Ro, thanks for keeping us posted. Soooo glad to hear things are improving for you. I think we all do our best to live through and deal with the labs, radiology, and procedures we're required to endure. The good news is that as we improve the need for these will decline. So too, the apprehensions, frustrations. and concerns. Be well :)

Hey Ro
You deserve this good news, and now that your past the 4 week EOT it should go even easier.
I think most of us cirrhotics would be happy to have your lab results, but the best part is that they will very likely only get better.
Congrats to you and all the effort you have put into the treatment and the forum.

Hi Ro,
Congrats on the EOT +4w Undetected. Looking good.
As a cirrhotic, the platelets and albumin levels are to be expected. Also, the AFP is often elevated in cirrhotics.
Good to see the varices shrink. As the portal hypertension resolves, they should eventually disappear.
You'll get your SVR but remember to get the followup Ultrasounds for HCC.
Great to know that persistence pays off! Well done and enjoy life. Cheers.

Great news Ro! I agree, you just completed treatment and those numbers should steadily improve. Remaining undetected at EOT+4 is an excellent sign of things to come. It all looks very good, congrats!!

Congrats Ro, great news that you`re still undetected! That`s an important milestone and looks very promising for your 12 wks post EOT result!
It`s great to hear how much better you`re feeling already and how wonderful that your varices have improved to such an extent!
With so much good news I don`t think you need to be too worried about those lab numbers. It`s still early days for you yet and you`ve clearly responded very well to your Harvoni treatment, and you`re already seeing very positive changes taking place.
Very pleased for you...onwards to SVR!!

Finally received my 4 week EOT lab results from May 26! Happy to report I remain undetected, but am concerned as I remain with:
elevated AFP 18.0 (norm 0.0-8.3),
Other labs are only marginally off:
slightly low Albimin 3.3 (norm 3.5-5.0)
platelets 102 (norm 149/390)
Endoscopy showed improvement in the varicies...and my med was cut in half!
Now (un)patiently waiting for results to ultrasound......
My aches and pains are lessening, feeling good for the most part! Trying to lose the pounds I gained on treatment LOL
Greg,
Thank you. It is SO true!
