Psssst - Wendy, Scott, Canuck - who can I tell if I don't want to be a Senior Member?

I'Ve had enough to do with one in real life and am lumping them all into one the same basket, so to speak (nasty image I know).  They have no sense of humour and continually expect to have their egos stroked before they'll move a muscle

Back to the Party Boy - what a carriage that was! I hope he doesn't totally swan off into the sunset, but if he does, well we'll have to grab Tig and Jimmyk and hop on another one.

Xxx

OMG! This party just keeps on coming!

Now, he's gone all "Guru"!! Is that how it's done? Drugs, party, then you go all guru ... in that order?

I've been meaning to ask Tig about that pension thing I was expecting, that hasn't come yet (BTW), when I changed from"vet" to "senior" ... so ... what's the deal for morphing into a guru?

Ahhh, it really HAS been an enjoyable altering mystical kind of day today tho! Good party. smile C.

I don't know but I took 3 little blue pills a little earlier ... I don't have any more of those and my supplier says that supply has dried up.

Hey, I'll unplug the headphones though so you can hear Credence that I've been listening to. If you're really desperate the shrooms are growin' in the pasture out back ... here's a flashlight ... if it stops working, just hit it twice and it'll come back on.

No, nuthin' in the Cranberry Juice, we can dream I suppose ... LOL

WTH!

DONT" TELL ME I missed Linux's party!

WHO's the wise guy who TOLD ME to show up over at Jimmy's place!

Been hanging around waitin, waitin .... saw some candy wrappers, looked like confetti, blown around in the wind today, maybe some funny smellin green shat, what's that about? Then, somebody says, oh, too bad, it's all over!! Well, I never!

Oh well, don't own a watch, prolly woulda been late anyway. Besides, I hear there were drugs involved, so, just as well

Well I'm exhausted, I don't know about Linux (he MUST be tired, but happy) - but before I go to bed, I will show you the impressions I was going to do at the party ... I can do 5 Linux impressions, all of them depicting him pre and post partysmile C.

Hey, you didn't think the Drone batteries would take long to recharge did you? I've got plenty of film already. I want to know, why are you sitting down? There's some green glowing goo in the corner again. I left you a pair of gloves in the club car. Somebody doesn't want this party to end. Apparently everyone is enjoying your celebration!

You're going to wake up tomorrow thinking about taking those pills. Then it will really start to sink in, I'm done!

Carpe Diem.......

I've been cleaning all day and I have to say, we're a messy bunch. I want to know, what is this pile of ick in the corner? Someone covered it up with a Dairy Queen Blizzard cup and Hershey bar wrappers. I'm pretty sure there's a Canadian Maple Leaf on one of these wrappers.... Three of you come to mind! It glows in the dark too! I think I better get a pair of gloves for this!

Hey Jimmy, Clide dropped his wallet and I found this out ...

Little known factoid:

Clyde is actually very old and very wise ...

we're talking Pre-Cambrian age here folks,

that's like 541+ million years old - I'll have you know ...

so a little respect here for Clyde's feelings here,

He'll be here long after we will ...

Why in the heck do you think I'm so fascinated with getting to the future ... again.

Hey, so $hit, gall durn marshmallows are on fire again ...

... just goes to show ya ...

... Gilda was right

Congrats Dave.  That is awesome results.  I am hoping to get my LFT's on EOT also.  They haven't tested them once during treatment but they have been a roller coaster over the years.

That is awesome, I'm right behind you.  You finishing just gave me a huge boost of mood.  I thank you for that.  Reading everybody's comments also helps.  This is an awesome site.  Everyone is great.

Keep drinking those smoothies, Dave.  I went off them for a bit but am back on them when I started feeling horrible.  I'd say times flies when your having fun, but this isn't much fun and time stands still.  What  a long strange trip its been.   LOL.

Syd, I am in for any project.  The more the better.  Just as long as I don't have to think or make important decisions.  Is there recycling on this train.  That might be quite difficult for me.  Now where does this go?

scott, Tig, Mike, Wendy, jimmy K, Canuck, SF - anyone going to help me get this train carriage back in some sort of order?

There's decaying greens and a dirty blender in one corner, a couple of large computers with smoke drifting out of them in the aisle. Nail scratches down the back of one seat in particular, a strange smell - sort of like burnt marshmallows throughout the whole cabin.... Chocolate wrappers everywhere... It's definitely a group project.

 Ahh Syd,

Sorry to leave things in such a shamble ... hey, whatever ya do, don't throw away that used Flux-Capacitor sitting in the corner over there ... I might need it on a future (and I do mean FUTURE) project.

Now, what was I about to say ... aw, heck ... lost it ...

Oh ... yes, "gentle exercise, water gulping and green smoothying" ... Duly Noted.

Thanks RC,

I appreciate the kind words ... all down this sometimes dusty and bumpy road ... and you will soon be seeing EOT once again yourself ... this time it's VERY different, however, You WILL be 100% RID of that nasty beast, the Dragon, from here To Eternity ... and Beyond!

It's your courage and those like you have carried us all through this, Thank You!

And for those on or soon to be on this Sovaldi/ Ribavirin train, not to worry ... I was already "Unhinged" before the Riba ... and I'm such a darn drama dude ... I confess ... as I stumble off the stage just to catch your attention once again. smile

Hi Dave.  EOT is quite an accomplishment . A couple weeks into your treatment you accepted the S/X of RIBA,you dug in your heel's and you got it done. Your quite an inspiration to anyone wondering if they should or should not treat using RIBA. You shared your experience with us all and it's clearly a  no brainer-  RIBA works-get treatment. Your  lft's look good, and with that Hg at 12.9 your going to feel good soon.  Congrats!!  RC

Funny, when I was seeing my PCP today and we were talking about side effects ...

I said "Ya this Riba really makes me goofy" ... she hesitated, shook her head then looked at Jo, then they both smiled, then she looked at me and said "Nope, you were already like that I'm afraid."

She's a great PCP ... smile

Thanks Mike,

I could not have been in better company, making this journey, than being right here.

The fine people of this forum have made it all possible and turned what could have been a nightmare into a gathering of warm and welcoming friends.

I do hope I've managed to get most everyone here to smile at least once ... no doubt I've gotten a good number to shake their heads as well but it's all in fun.

You've been a steady shoulder to lean on and it's greatly appreciated Mike ... I consider you a good friend along with the many others I've had the great fortune of meeting and spending time with here. This Forum Rocks!

... and I fully expect that Jimmy will take that lead and play some more fine tunes for us here in due time ... smile

Dave

Congrats on sticking with your Tx Dave. It's been a pleasure to follow your progress (or shall we say 'regress' biggrin), and you've managed to be very entertaining through it all. I know you are glad to have finally made it. It's all over now except for a piece of paper confirming what we already know. Job very well done!

Your brain fog will hang around for a while but you'll start seeing some improvement pretty quick. And your Hb / energy will return quickly.

Attached is my example showing my Hb went to 10.0 at SOT+4wks (8-6-14) and stayed there most of my 24 weeks until finally dropping to 7.9 @ EOT (1-7-15). But the good news is look how fast it recovered to 14.5 @ EOT+12wks. And 15.7 today and I feel great. You will too.

Definitely do the smoothies! Thanks to you they have helped me tremendously since you got me started on them and I'm still drinking 72oz almost daily. Yep, it's time for the good doctor to heed his own good advice. biggrin

 Enjoy your freedom!!! smile

Hey Oh Jimmy,

You do realize that you've already been cleared for take off, don't you ...

Land, sea or air or space travel ... you are free to change your mode of transport at any time and as many times as you like,

just so long as you "Keep On Truckin" ... smile

Just so you know, I rebuilt the Flux-Capacitor, if you should need it you're welcome to it.

I couldn't use it toward the end there ... I was getting too dizzy from the time warps ... as I shake the latest cobwebs out of my head. (Hey, what was that rattling noise? ... didn't like the sound of that  confuse  )

I may be off the train but I swear I'm not off my rocker ... (Rockers don't have hinges, do they?)

Dave

Brother mine only dropped to 12.7 and walking was not something I was good at. It just gets better now and that is for sure.

Why the way I have been feeling lately, them 85 year old shuffle board players better mind their business, and that is all I have to say about that.

Yes, Hb surprised me too, I asked my PCP why I would be so tired, shortness of breath etc ...

She just said These are both strong drugs in high dosage, it's just some of the side effects of them.

We both really know that but, none the less, I thought the Hb would be much lower the way I've been feeling lately.

She ordered another CBC in a month to make sure the Hb and RBC count improve.

Anyway, it's all VERY good news, I'm even Ok with the 12wk wait ... hey, at least I'll be free of the virus, free of the drugs and free of the side effects as they lessen, it will be a much easier wait I think. I'll also be busy, perfect time of year to be breaking free of all of the above ... I'm a happy camper!

Full effect of EOT will likely hit me in a few days as the fog lifts some.

I'll start tomorrow on making at least a daily batch of smoothies, working to improve strength, stamina and rid the body of toxins.

smile

Hey Buddy!

Good numbers, good news, great day so far! The ALT is fine, perfect as a matter of fact and the HGB, I'm amazed it's almost 13. I was expecting something around 10-11. That's great though, you'll recover that much faster because you're not starting out your recovery in the basement. That's very good news. Mine dropped to 9 and I was at the bottom of somebody's aquarium around here. That was me.... (flapping gill noise...insert here).

I wanted my week +4 VL, but I was used to getting them a lot more often and our rates of success on that Dragon Pizz protocol weren't near as good as the new DAA's. So, I'm sure you'll be ticketed on the SVR track, it'll be another 12 week ride though! Start packing....

Congratulations again my friend, you did it! This is like filing taxes, you know you got money coming back, you just have to wait by the mailbox for the check!

EOT!!!

Knock, KNOCK, KNOCK ... Open Up ... It's Dave ...

no really man, hurry up, I got the stuff ...

they only had three pills but I got it, let me in Knock, KNOCK, KNOCK!!

Aw, heck with it, I'll just take 'em myself, was going to share but ...

Been Daved and confused for so long it's not true.

PCP visit went well, got my labs.

Hemoglobin is barely below range (bit of a surprise but good)

ALT is still low (at 4wks it was 15) good news

Red Blood Cell Count 4.07   range 4.20-5.80

Hemoglobin = 12.9    range - 13.2-17.1

ALT/ AST = 18/18   range - 9-46

PCP said if I really insisted that she would order RNA at EOT+4wks but she said she highly recommended that I just wait.

I told her I just wanted to concentrate on clearing the meds and getting back to feeling better so I would just wait.

PCP does have the order from the Specialist for the EOT+12wks RNA (so that's good and set for July)

Slight elevation in ALT is nothing I'm concerned about, not much and still VERY good.

Thanks for being here everyone! It's appreciated!!

Dave

smile

Apparently, my insurance only authorizes a 14 day supply at a time so I'll be getting 6 shipments over the next 12 weeks. I think they just want to ensure compliance and have some control, whatever, it works for me.

I'll be posting my progress here as I go through Tx.

I didn't answer the door because I knew Dave really didn't have any "STUFF" left. I knew if I didn't let him in, he would have to finish it all by himself! I wasn't going to let him miss out on one single dose. I didn't want any of the Ribamonster he had anyway. I've had more than enough! It does mess you up though, just not the way I care to remember.

Now where's that remote?
