I've been a big fan of Ashley, Brittany, Courtney and Adria's father since the early 1980's, but I really get my rocks off on top fuel action now days, and for that I gotta love Tony Schumacher. burnout.gif

So good to hear from you. I am sorry you are still having trouble at work. I know it isn't always easy, but don't let them take away your happiness. You have been through a lot and are a very strong woman. Don't let the mean spirited people take that away. Can't wait to hear your good news on October 24th!

Having a job you don't look forward to going to is a major anxiety/stress producer which can produce extremely negative mental and physical issues, even in an otherwise healthy individual. But in most situations you've got to be there, and 'put up' with it as a matter of survival. I've been there and only found a couple of coping skills that helped me.

#1, The a** holes only have the amount of power that I allow them to have in order to screw up my day.

#2, Try to keep the big picture in sight. The "this too shall pass" thing helps a bit too.

Hope this helps! smile

I like Jeff Gordon although I'm mainly a huge NHRA fan. But I do have several NASCAR items around here with the #88 on them. biggrin

not sure Mike. I know the interferon made me lose some hair 2 times.. but it seemed it was while I was on the meds. can't really remember now. I got some stuff that u spray in hair after washing & spray & leave in. a friend of mine is a hairdresser & loves it. I just wish co workers would understand so I wouldn't feel all the nerves & stress b4 I even get there. I have had some energy some days but the 2 weeks have sucked. guess I will have to deal. no other way..  lol thanks to all of u. & prayers to all of u all the time.. love u guys..

Hi Taz,

I see from your sig that you are well experienced (3x) with Interferon and Ribavirin. Is there any differences in Inter/Riba Sx's this time? If so, I would not think Sovaldi would be the culprit but...?

I'm just curious and with my not being experienced with Interferon, I can't offer any suggestions but I certainly hope you feel better very quickly. smile

PS: I like your license plate. You must be from the Brandon area?

I'm still having side effects but they are live able. I ended up shaving my head when my hair loss was too much. It's growing back thinker and healthier so I don't regret that. Don't be hard on yourself. These meds take awhile to leave the system. I have days with little energy and just take it easier on those days. The ribavirin is what has gotten bad for me. Just do what you can and don't worry about what you can't change. It adds too much stress. Will be praying for you.

Hey Taz,

Trust me, I know what those nerves feel like! It took several months for things to settle down and it sounds like you're experiencing the same thing I did. You spent months on some of the most powerful drugs known to mankind and all of a sudden they're gone! Your body was probably just getting used to them (adjusting, more like it) and now it has to readjust to not having them. Lots of ups and downs and unfortunately your nerves are on the same ride! Try to understand that what you're feeling is due to the action these drugs have on you. Once they have cleared your system, you'll find that things will return to what you were accustomed to or better. It'll happen, just give it some time and understand it's the drugs, not you. Don't forget that we're always here for you!

Hey Taz,

Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly. It's not uncommon to go through a period of readjustment once you stop taking these drugs. It took me several months to get back on track, so don't be surprised that you're experiencing some of these things. I remember losing big patches of hair a month after EOT! I have a full beard and woke up one morning with one cheek's worth of hair laying on my pillow! It came out in one chunk! Interferon and Ribavirin take a long time to finally clear your system, so don't be surprised that this is the case.

Not too much longer and you'll get your final tests completed. By then you should be feeling much better. Keep your spirits up and spend time here talking, it helps to share your experiences with those that can relate. Hang in there!

Tig

I haven't been feeling good at all. got off treatment 7/17  my hair is now falling out a lot. could this be treatment after effects or maybe stress. I have enough of that to go around. I haven't quit smoking yet due to I know I am stressed. I have to get stronger in my mind. I don't know. just depressed.. but I am so happy to hear of more good news from ppl here of svr & undetectable. I go back oct 9 to get labs & will know oct 24 if svr. I worry about that too. I really just want to feel better. ughhhhh.. lol

Peace out

Tazwink
