TazKat Genotype 1A null responder x 3 riba & iterferon twice, relapsed from Incivek 2012 with only 12 weeks left to do. stage 4 mild cirrhosis 4/25/2014/ started sovaldi riba & interferon.. finished treatment 7/17/14  results 7/25  cleared..

Diag. with hep c in 1992; A3:F2;  GT 1a; IL28B CT; VL 900k, ALT 150, AST 100 on 8/5/2014; SOT 9/5/2014  S/O ---VL 127 after 6 days; VL detected on day 18 but < 15.; --> UND @ EOT+ 1 year SVR!

I just got my 12 week after treatment viral load results: SVR!!!!!! I'm cured!!!!! I'm crying as I type this.

compensated cirrhosis
treatment: 12 weeks Sovaldi/Olysio
VL at start 2 million

Comments: blood platelets have been around 60 since last spring, they are up to 72 as of yesterdays blood work. I am hoping that my liver function will continue to improve over time.

Hi

Most of my info is in my signature line.  But here it is again.

80 year old female with genotype 1a. Diagnosed in 1999.  Cirrotic-compensated

First and only treatment  18 weeks of Merck C-Worthy clinical trial with Riba 

Started Sept 2013  Finished Jan 2014 UND since Oct 2013 Declared SVR July 2014.

Have not started Merck clinical follow-up yet.  That should be interesting.

Called for appt for scan for HCC and the follow-up this week. (Sept 22 2014) 

Will post follow-up info when available.

55 yr old female. 1a Q80k present. Treated w/ interferon - RIBA 6 months 2005. Relapse . 3/2014 started S/O waiting on EOT 12 weeks results. Posting results soon !

G1a prior tx 2005 with peg & RIBA -quit due to bad side effects. Follow up visit showed it was back. Current tx Olysio/sovaldi 673,000 vl on 3/21/14. May 1st undetected vl. EOT 12 weeks undetected!

Dx. 2005-liver bx.: stg 2/gr 1. at that time  - GT 1a multiple transfusions in 1981.  Started Sovaldi and Olysio 1/16/14  (No prior treatments) Q80K present.  UND week 4,8 and at EOT.   UND at wk 4EOT, Und at wk 8EOT  SVR 12!!!..SVR 24 :-)

Interf/RIBA 24wks non cirrhotic 3a 54 yr old female.  SVR at 4wk still SVR at 12 wk post tx.  diagnosed 9/2011. treated 9/2013- 3/3014. Infected 8 /27/1986 from blood transfusion After 1st childs birth. Mother of 2 both negative.  Worked full-time during tx as industrial engineer

55 yo female.  Diagnosed 9/2011 Geno 3A.  Treatment delayed because of 9 Month antibiotic tx because of TB Positive test. Began tx 9/20/2013 Interf/Riba 24 wks.  Week 4, 8 undet. 1 year.......UNDETECTED!

53 year ole male HCV Genotype 3a , now Psot-Tx taking sovaldi /riba for 24 weeks. VL was 5.8 mil on 7-5-13 , then "und" at 3.8 weeks of teatment. After test on 06/13/14 still und. Due to an adverse advent from a liver biopsy I was off meds 3 days then back on 7/29 I took my Last pill 08/10/14. and my 4-week post EOT VL test was done on 9/03/14, 9/8/14 SVR (Liver Stage  A2_F2)

63 year old male 1b, now cirrhotic. Relapsed 4 weeks post tx after 3rd try, 12 weeks of Sovaldi/Olysio. Increased arthritic and neuropathy symptoms. Hoping and praying my insurance will cover another round of tx.

1b  Int/Riba relapse @ 48 weeks.  Stop tx Peg Int/Riba 12 weeks ill. Relapse S/O 6/23/14 :(   Started Harvoni 11/12/14  EOT 4/28/15.  EOT+4 UND :)  SVR! 8/4/15  :)     Thankful for every morning.

SVR - 2nd try

24 week tx - Incivik, Peg/Riba

Contracted 1980 - Minimal fibrosis - Will have 1 year post tx end of September.

Feeling good! No fatigue or muscle soreness! Still a little crazy from the Interferon

Another added bonus, I am more heat tolerant.

SVR with Sovaldi/Olysio x 12 weeks   Had hx of the virus for 32 years.  WAS GT1a, Tx naive with Q80K polymorphism   Not clear on stage when started tx, but hepascore indicated significant fibrosis.

SVR on 4th try. 48 weeks of Victrelis/Peg/Riba. Had HepC for 40+ years. Cirrhotic, now 71 years old. Geno 1b, IL29B CT. No symptoms before Rx- now back to normal after the effects of Interferon have gone.

Undetected at week 2 on solvaldi/rib/interferon:  stayed through week 12 but virus came back as soon as I stopped.  on   Harvoni and ribravirin 24 weeks undetected after two. 8/2/15  12 week EOT  UNDETECTED!  SVR

Sovaldi/Olysio-no Riba, 12 weeks tx off label started on 1/6/14, compensated cirrhosis-liver biopsy, GT 1(b), 54 year old male, UND at 4 weeks, SVR 12, minimal sx-insomnia primarily.

I thought it might be helpful to have a treatment outcome record on one thread. Tig suggested I start it in the post treatment section, so here it is.

It would be easier to read results if each person uses pretty much the same format: what drugs they used for treatment, duration of treatment, liver status (cirrhotic or non-cirrhotic), genotype, age, male/female, plus anything they feel was significant with their treatment.

Me: I finished 12 week treatment with Sovalfdi/Olysiio on July 30 and will have my 12 week  EOT viral load test Oct. 23; will post my outcome at that time. I am genotype 1a, compensated cirrhotic, 63 year old female with platelets around 65, and a liver tumor being monitored every 3 months with MRI. I am being treated at a liver transplant center/teaching hospital and was diagnosed with Hep C in January 2014, probably had it since 1977 and didn't know it.
